I don't know about everyone else, but it really irks me when someone tries to contact me and they don't have a photo of themselves or hasn't even given an inkling of what type of person they are or want they want in a potential companion. I'm not the hottest girl out there and I do have some weight to shed(working on that btw)I do have my face out there so if someone finds me physically attractive they're more than likely going to wink, nudge, talk here on the forum to me or email etc. that's part of coming on to a dating site in trying to find someone to hook up with, and it's not about being shallow either it's basic biology. If I can't see your face I can't get a first impression of you. And it's all about first impressions particularly when your on this kind of site.

I experience that... I cant even match myself with a flower or anything. If they want your attention, they must put a photo in their profile.....

I find myself wishing many of the women that contact me didn't have a photo. Then I wouldn't have to look at them.

I know right. I hate to put pics of me online but it is a necessary evil. It's only fair that if I ask for profiles with pics I give the same and it really bothers me when someone doesn't bother to take on the task of putting their pics up too. It makes them look like they are either lazy or hiding something.

this topic has come up many, many, many times. Not everyone here is looking to meet. Many use this as a social site or to just chat in the forums. If you don't want to talk to someone without a picture, then ignore them, put them on block in emails, don't read their emails, etc. I'm not here to meet people. I'm here for the forums. No one needs to know what I look like for that. People that I'm close to on here can see my pictures in facebook. Otherwise, it's nobody's business what I look like....just saying Besides...even if someone has a picture in their profile doesn't mean it's actually them or even recent. Pictures on profiles aren't a guarantee did I mention that this topic comes up many, many, many times?

The namelessness of most already teeters on creepy, so adding facelessness does not help me any. This may be old fodder for some of you, but I’m glad to know I’m not the only one this raises neck hairs on. I would like to think of the person I'm talking to as a real person...a face helps.

Well, I feel irked when someone comes to this site seeking a date, and that same someone is still married to someone else. Why should anyone contact you for a date if you are still married to another? So, instead of finding a reason to be irked, let's all sit back, relax and enjoy the site . . . and have a pint if you want one.

I'm in the middle of a divorce and the ex is in another state so for all intent and purposes my dear. I'm not married. I stated in my profile that I am separated, that would mean yes legally I'm still tied to the other person but in process of not being tied to the other person. If you have a problem with me being irked don't read...easy right?:)

Many will say they have reasons as to why they have no pictures up, as is their right, however, what ever the reasons, at the end of the day this is a datesite. If I want to just use the site for social reasons id just go to a site for that. But to each his own.
