I am not a 12 stepper but I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs. I am not a good drinker, I have diminished lung capacity and can't breathe around smoke, and I never did do drugs.
I have the WORST time finding guys to date or even be friends with for that matter that do not drink, smoke or do drugs. Any suggestions?? And please don't say church. |

I don't even think church is a guarantee they don't drink or smoke, unless they're devout Mormon or something.

Perhaps if he is moderate in his habits? and of course does not do those things when with you? IDK what else to suggest except choose a seaarch that limits those factors. My last BF smoked weed but generally not around me and it was not what caused our " break up" he was moderate if he had been a stoner I would have not stayed with him to start with |

There are plenty of us who are straight-edged. Try places where healthy people hang-out, for instance go to the Whole foods market and ram your cart into a cute guy's cart.

I don't drink, smoke, use those popular prescription drugs. No caffeine either since it is a drug. All that stuff costs money. Ice Cream is the way to go.

And just what is wrong with church? Here is a suggestion: Move eastward a few states.

Men I meet do Not do any of those things. But I date Older men and they try to take care of themself now. I am speaking of the men I met in person. They have to go through the "Ringer" before I meet up.
 One did drink a lot, but he told a lie and it took me a couple months to see the real man. I would suggest asking more questions, before a date and telling men, what you will not except.

Dodo David, Do I need to rewrite my poem I lost called "I'm not leaving California. I can't. I can't. I won't". I am in the land of wheat grass smoothies. There has to be guys here. Of course, they also smoke other plants which is my main problem. I am seriously thinking I need to be a vegetarian again and lose a bunch of weight and get all into sports. I had no problem meeting men when I did that in my 20s. Maybe it still works.

Smoking is definitely a turn off.
Alcoholics are a definite no no for women unless you want to become a punching bag. Not every guy is a chain smoking alcoholic so I think you need to broaden your circles. Sounds like you want a secular person who is a saint though. You can't have your cake and eat it too. |

What's wrong with smoking weed? I wouldn't think it would be a problem if they aren't indulging around you to make sure it doesn't irritate you...I mean, let's face it, that's grabbing straws there.

The problem is that we get pulled over in the car and they have it on them, somebody is going to jail. Sorry, it's STILL illegal. And as far as a secular saint, who says? He can down load everything illegally in the universe, swear like a drunken sailor on shore leave, drive like an azzhole, etc, etc, Many things are tolerated that do not qualify for saintly. |

BS. You have not been caught. I have FRIENDS who have done JAIL TIME for getting caught with with weed. |
