How do you please someone who is never pleased?

"Never" is an absolute.

So why would you even try?

Do you have a desire to be frustrated?

Do you think you can work miracles or do the impossible?

Please yourself.

You can't. Anyway, why are you trying so hard to please them? (curious). I wouldn't want to be around someone like that. The type who is never satisfied. It's stupid if you have to try hard just to please her. My theory, date someone who is easily pleased, because some are just too snarky to appreciate the small things :)

I think you answered your own question. The answer is you don't. Stop trying to please them and see what happens. It worked for me, now I'M much happier.

it is difficult, sometimes we love people who do not want us ..... obstinence by the majority of the time, but look around you, there are people who love you for real, and you don't noticed! takes the time to think objectively, and ask yourself why you chose this person in another place, what are her qualities ...ohwell

Why bother trying to please someone who is never pleased. If they're never pleased nothing I do is going to change that. As far as I'm concerned let em be malcontents and I'll go about my life. It works for me. laugh laugh

The thing people seem to not understand, is that "happiness is a state of being". It is not something that you go get, nor is it something that can be given.

It's a state of being, you either are happy or you are not. You can choose to look at the negative in life or the positive. In the end it is your choice on whether to be happy or not.
If you are not happy and cannot be happy on your own, then how can you possibly expect someone to make you happy?
How can you expect from someone else, what you can't even do for yourself?

So to answer your question, you can support, love, care for, empathize with another person but you do not have control over their thoughts or feelings. In turn, can never "make someone else happy"
LoL that was my 2 cents

Maybe you could suggest this unsatisfied person taking a few vacations. It's a nice change to take a few holidays. Sometimes staying in the same location doesn't help you forget your troubles. Or maybe this person is just mono-tone anyway. In everyday life. If they ARE mono-tone in personality, then there's no way they can be moved. laugh
