Meh, I'm 26 years old, had full and rich relationships, and I've never had sex. So yes, it's possible.

The first guy I was with turned out to be gay so he was more of a wham bam, thank you ma'am sort who had to go vomit after we had sex. (Don't ask, I don't know why I stuck around either, I guess I have a thing for the damaged and the confused)

The rest of them were meh. I admit one was pretty good, he even came highly recommended from a mutual friend, who used to be his sex buddy. (Again, don't ask, I was stupid to take up with a guy who used to recreationally bang one of my friends)

One was a virgin. Another learned oral from a lesbian, so he was pretty good. The rest were random hookups and I've pretty much forgotten their names.

(I realize this probably makes me look like a huge slut, but the situations were always majorly complicated, so it's not really that bad at all)laugh

Oh wow! Not what I was expecting, lol. And no worries, most of my friends have been in shoes like yours, it's never as simple as, "Yeah, I just want to have sex with everyone." Although there were one or two....

Not necessarily. I've loved guys that I've never slept with. And I've slept with guys I didn't even like. So yeah.

There weren't that many. They just weren't normal relationships. I suck at relationships.

I feel just the opposite Paint...Great sex is one of the most gratifying experiences life has to offer...Sexuality, one of life's greatest gifts...Acknowledging physical pleasure can enhance every aspect of a relationship between a man and a woman because it narrows the "gender gap"...I believe a healthy sex life is a necessary ingredient in most successful relationships...In and of itself, good sex cannot make a relationship work, but on the other hand, bad sex can wreak havoc on almost any relationship...drinker

This is what I'm used to hearing and I'm inclined to agree. I have to respectfully disagree with Fof2 that sex is a prerequisite to love. I love my family, I love my best friend and those relationships are platonic. My romantic loves, while incomplete without that physical component, cannot be construed as anything else but love. When I gave women my love I gave them the best of my time, my physical affection, encouragement, empathy, compromise, fun, sacrifice, an improved self, mad rushes to their aid during emergencies, total loyalty in every sense of the word, and anything I could give I gave the best I had with the exception of that one thing. And I did it every damn day of each relationship. No one will ever convince me that isn't love.

And....that is why so many relationships fail....sex isn't the only thing that holds a relationship together. I've had great sex with guys who treated me like ****, and I have had no sex at all with guys who were nice to me and I still talk to them and value them immensely.

It's about the quality of the relationship, how you treat each other, what you feel for each other when you're together. I can get off on my own (and usually do a much better job of it) or I can get off with another person, but my favorite part of any relationship, romantic or otherwise, is the conversation. If I'm into a guy I can talk to him all day, all night, with no touching at all.

I met a guy at school a few months ago. We spent all of one day together. Talking. Laughing. It was ****ing amazing. We went back to my room and spent the entire night lying on one of the beds, talking. No sex. At all. It was one of the best times of my life.

But to each his (or her own), I'd rather have a mind-**** than a regular **** any day of the week; but I've been told I'm a little bit crazy...smokin

I think it is possible because you don't have to love someone to have sex with someone. I also feel love is more than sex and a guy having sex with me isn't the best way to prove he loves me.

Okay. My opinion....MY OPINION...again.....MY FREAKING OPINION.....is that when you meet someone and you have an attraction to them, you feel that sexual desire for them. So you date and while finding out if you are falling for them you are more than likely going to have sex. You can "love" someone and not sleep with them. But when you "fall in love" then I cannot see how you couldn't have sex with that person before you marry. I know that a person's religious beliefs play a huge role in whether they choose to not have sex before marriage. And I applaud people who make that choice. As for me....I couldn't do it. I will want to make love to my woman because (since I am in love with her) I will want to share that intimacy with her. Again....this is just me.

Nonsense, unless you agree with the herd, your opinion is invalid; sex without love, what are you, a Philistine???
