Nothing, it is the worst bill ever passed and if it was so good why did the President exempt Congress, the Senate and the White House from it? Why has he issued over 1400 exemptions of people and groups from it so far? If it was so great, wouldn't it be great for everyone?

Change you cant believe in!

Prejudice and sentiment apart, what do you like the most about Obamacare package?

I like no one being turned away

I like no caps or limits on coverage based upon illnesses

I like AFFORDABLE options for decent healthcare for the less wealthy

I like that preventive care is covered

I love that the insurance company is held accountable for spending dollars on HEALTHCARE in the form of rebates when they are spending on their overhead instead

I like that the more people are on the exchange, the less excuse the insurance industry has to raise rates

The broken exchange? The one where only 6,000 people have been signed up and over 55,000 keeps getting kicked off when they try? rofl

I, not being American, have no reason for any predjudice. In fact I thought he may actually be good when he first got in but ObamaCare ....... HELL NO!!!

My mother-in-Law will pay through the freaking nose, sign over her first grandchild to afford this. What she will pay is about 5x what I pay in Canada for Universal Health Care.

Starting to wonder if Harper and Obama aren't related.

karma, prejudice is not just an American phenomenon

I have a hard time believing what most people post here, having put in a number of different scenarios and incomes into the premium tool

Conrad, IM aware you will hate anything associated with OBama

LP, I wish you would research things you read on the internet before blindly repeating them,,,

Washington state finally released enrollment statistics from the health insurance marketplace it has been operating for a week, as did several other states, including New York and California, which revealed that tens of thousands of people have enrolled in their exchanges.

"Notwithstanding any other provision of law … the only health plans that the Federal Government may make available to Members of Congress and congressional staff with respect to their service as a Member of Congress or congressional staff shall be health plans that are — (I) created under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act); or (II) offered through an Exchange established under this Act (or an amendment made by this Act)."

I know it isn't. I am a French-Canadian who has spent his life among Anglophones including 4 years in American education. I know about prejudice. I could care less about a man's skin/religion etc. What he does however matters.

Then again he may be related to both Harper and Ren Lvesque. All done what is worse for the country.

I have only one question to ask if Obamacare is so wonderful. Why have members of Congress repeatedly wanted to be exempt from have to fall under Obamacare's cloak? Why would they not welcome having this new coverage, instead of demanding that they can be exempted from it? Any answers?

as I have no evidence of what congress 'wanted', its a null question

I imagine, congress having more than 500 individuals, some will want to keep the plans they already have,,,just because they are happy with the plan they have

As is the case with Obozo on this whole issue..... the majority is wrong, MsH is right, all negative evidence is simply non-fact, and so there is no need for negotiation.

If you disagree, you are obviously prejudice or a racist!

10 Million or so have signed onto the exchanges. There are 313,000,000 people (approx) in America, 56,000 have registered..... "because it is the law" being the reply of most interviewed, then voicing there various complaints or objections to the many lies they were led to believe, restrictions, unaffordable costs, huge deductibles, add-on costs like equipment taxes, the amount and type of information needed or requested, or their present Drs not on the list of available providers as they were led to believe and promised would NOT be the case.

Now the very people who passed this atrocity into law on the American people and the corporate employers who have praised this fiasco, have petitioned the POTUS for exemptions and received them while the people get none.

What the people receive is fewer work hours, benefits and choices, higher taxes, more taxes and a poorer quality of care than they were receiving, loss of their preferred provider, and at a higher cost....only now, not only are they dealing with their Dr about their healthcare, but ANY gov't employee, including teachers, the IRS, the postal service workers, case workers and anyone else with a series of alphabet characters behind their titles now as well.

It's about control, not healthcare or making it affordable!
