I would. I have. Never thought much about that aspect. It is the person that counts.

I think it depends on the situation and their character. If they're the kind of person who sits at home watching TV, moping around, isn't particularly driven or productive... then no, I wouldn't.

I was seeing someone for a couple of months who was unemployed for a while, and he was unemployed by choice. He had savings, he was careful when and where he spent it, but he was still a lot of fun to be around.

In the world we live in you are lucky if you can go through your working life without ever finding yourself unemployed, it certainly has become a fact of life in the 21st Century. I have no concerns about dating someone who is unemployed, it is the person I would be interested in, whether they were in work at the time would be irrelevant.

I asked this a while back, and I gotta say, my answer hasn't changed.
No.

If a man/ woman is unemployed they should spend their time looking for work. NOT looking for love.

I don't need a guy to take care of me, but he should be able to take care of himself!

Here in the UK we have over 1 million young people between the ages of 18 and 24 unemployed and looking for work. Why should they not seek love, most people can multi task, they are quite capable of looking for both in my opinion.

No. I think it's atrocious................

YES I'M KIDDING ;)

One of my ex's has been unemployed because of mental health trouble. Though if he wanted to give things another go, I would.

I can see how it gets miscontrued as laziness.

People need to ask why they're unemployed, before saying that they just want to be. Some have no choice and are bound by health issue's.

It's one thing to find love while you are out trying to find work... If you bump into the love of your life while at a job interview... But to actively look for "dates" or "love" while unemployed. No. It's not fair. AND I should mention I did it before. The guy was distracted worried about finding work and we couldn't go anywhere. He didn't want me paying for everything... I didn't want to either! I'm sorry I don't recommend dating someone unemployed.

People need to ask choice and are bound by health issue's.

And that's true with a disability. I'm talking about a healthy person who is actively looking or should be looking for work. I've never been unemployed... Thank God, but I have seen how stressful it can be on a relationship.

Doesn't matter to me. Actually I think it's a good thing because the best place for a woman is at home, where they can cook and clean and look after the children.
