You know it would seem to me kindness is second in this world to all of the other desirable things in life lol. It is still out there though and I think it is truly making a slow come back. Media has been covering more stories of kindness lately too which is nice. I like the whole Christmas tippers thing those stories amaze me the wealthy leaving good tips for the less fortunate.

Some of that was from a commercial I've seen before. People doing nice things to others, while someone watches then they do. A pay it forward type of thing. I had gone to McDonald's once and when I pulled up to the window to pay, they told me the car in front of me paid for my order! A random act of kindness..
That is a good way to live.
Thanks for sharing Candi

Yes that happened here in Calgary not long ago..but they were doing it at Tim Hortons. This would be nice if people did it all the time rather than make an event of it

I agree 100 percent. I adopted a family from Africa last year and when I send them funds for supplies I watch them on webcam. It sends joy straight to my heart watching the children giggle as they eat or show off a new pair of sandals for school.I just wish I could do more and help even more people!

acceptance to people with special needs. I work with kids who have autism and most days I would much rather be around them than most adults in bad moods lol

A news item here in the UK some time ago told the story of a person who came out of a high street bank after making a large cash withdrawal only to accidently drop the envelope containing the money, where a gust of wind blew most the money out of the envelope and in to the street. Passers by helped collect up the money and when it was all added up they were only one 10.00 note short out of hundreds that had scattered all over the pavement. Just shows honesty as well as kindness does exist.

awesome, I really think if stories like these were the norm in our 'news' they would become more the norm in our society

if it bleeds it leads is causing a culture of people who seek out blood,,,,,,

The feeling you get from hekping people greatly outweighs that feeling you get from being a jerk..makes ya wonder why/how people can be so nasty?

Well, two days in a row the local Tim Horton's gave me a free coffee while I was in my Peace Officer uniform. I was at a store where a lady was short some money and was going to ask her daughter to put back a toy as she couldn't pay for it; so I covered the cost. Felt good to pay forward.
