Who believes the U.S. will still be 'alive and well' 100 years from now? Think about it guys and give me some feedback on this subject and vent your feelings on nature, weather, war....Bush?

100 years is a long time, heck the world might not be around that long...

Fortunately, I'll be dead and won't care.

joshy, you seem to forget that we only borrowed this earth from our children, like they do from their children.
Is it not time to see to it that we give it back to them in a better condition than it is in now?

Hmm...by then there will probably be no more gas for anyone but the military. Too many people are still trying to get in for the country to fall.

Hi Andreaflowerforyou

I agree.

If America is still around 100 years from now it certainly won't be the same as it is now.

Gosh, for the sake of my nieces and nephew, I hope the economy is still strong and that something has been done about global warming.

Nothing is ever the same after 100 yrs, not even marble.

Yeah Josh, just think about "not caring".... How selfish is that? That is why our childrens children haven't a chance because 'someone' doesn't care. This is the time to care like she said. We were put onto this earth to care for it not to destroy it and remove all it's natural resources that are vital to keep it inhabitabl.

We will get over the fossil fuels crunch in the next 15 years. Whether we can find peace with our neighbors is another thing.

My feeling is that we will be around. The world will be different. Most countries will speak English, because it is a good language and very popular now, not so much because we speak English.

Africa will be half Chinese and half Indian and half African. Ha ha, how ya like my math?

South America will be doing better but they will always be strange and have that Carnival thing in Rio. Hopefully Argentina will not have scrapped its currency more than a few times in the interim.

A hundred years is not that long really. I expect I'll still be alive and hitting on the chicks in a hundred years. Hopefully I won't be so senile so I will still know the difference between pinching the girls that like it and pinching any girls that comes close enough. I don't pinch chicks currently but after I get to be 100 I reserve the right.

The question wasn't weather it would be "the same", of course it won't be the same any dummy could figure that one out....but will it even BE. If that super Volcano blows in Yellowstone are u aware of how many states will be turned to ASH? This is one of the reasons I don't live in Sheridan anymore....

global warming can't be reversed but people are starting to take action so it would be interesting to see how far along it is in the future.

Yeesh, it's not that I don't care about the future, I'm still alive now! While we can of course plans must be made and enacted to preserve the future of third nation and more importantly the world.

MY point is the dead DON'T CARE. I won't be able to see how our efforts effected the world 100 years later. For good or evil I wouldn't care when I am dead.

Man, philo, if you're still alive in 100 yrs... that'll make you what? 150 almost. you'll be lucky to breathe on your own, much less chase tail.

And I've seen this country go from good to ****hole in 20 years, now multiply that rate of descent by 5. I just hope our children are smart enough and religious enough to prepare for what's coming. But then again, look at today's generation of kids. That's what we are leaving this country too. America is doomed if you ask me, and it will only get more corrupt as the centuries unfold.
