Have a crappy job? Your co-worker not pulling their weight? Boss drops a stack of paperwork on your desk at 3 pm and due back by end of day?

Here is your place to complain, moan, rant, vent and express yourself.

Okay.... I shall start....

Instead of doing what I was suppose to when I came in the office this morning....

(that I promised two different individuals that I would do.....)

I was de-railed all day... with complete nonsense that I shouldn't have to been dealing with if others did what they were suppose to do!

As much as I would like to play on M2 all day, I don't have that option with my job. I am going 8+ hours M-F. There are some days that I have worked 12 hours, but I am salary, so, I don't get paid overtime.sad

... yes hourly vs salary.. with . salary. comes yearly increases.. and the comfort of knowing. what you're bringing home from month to month.. seniority security... the trust and faith in your. employer.. and then. there's those times when you have to leave early or go to the doctors.. you're still being paid for that... where as hourly you're not... me on the other hand I work 24 /7.... never really off.. I don't work my people don't work.... balance right.. Iam totally off topic...lol.. talk to you later... pS Have you matched me up yet..lol.

No matches yet.

I have the 'warden' for an office manager. She can sniff you out if you leave early or get in late.... and she is on you asking if you need to take paid time-off or she will mark you down as time off without pay. frown

Because I moved around following my husbands career I had many jobs and even contracted what I did so I have been in where I did not have to deal with the supervisors from hell but directly reported to owners.

What I sometimes have wondered was why bosses I had were so darn stuck on keeping an employee that absolutely made coworkers miserable, slowed down every project, and even stole from them while good employees got frustrated and moved on to better jobs.

I don't know how they could not notice the tone on the job site.

I hated firing employees with a passion but sometimes there are people that just have to go. frustrated

Those paid hourly, depending on the job, can still get yearly increases and still know what they're bringing home month to month. Salary does not equal trust and faith in your employer, nor seniority security. And depending on the employer, you may still have to make up time away for an appointment if you're salary.

I have 2 jobs, I dislike my full time job greatly but I also realize that I'm lucky to have a steady job and I know people who are out of work So I keep quiet, keep my opinion's to myself, do my job and go home and keep applying for better work.

Today was surprisingly good.... I love working with my clients. They are the best part of my job (even the difficult ones)! It's those that surround me that make me upset, when they don't do what they are suppose to do!

Happy Friday everyone! drinker It will be happy hour soon! I think there is a bottle of cherry wine calling my name at the store! bigsmile
