Soufie and Sparky are right. Two of the people I talk with the most are from Texas. You want to chat, post a photo, a recent photo, and maybe get done with the "separation" stuff. Fill in ethnicity and hair color, write something about yourself and you should be all set... with the profile stuff anyway!

Whether people will talk to you after that or not is another matter altogether.

The "separation" stuff is a turn off for many people. You are neither free nor available. Just saying...

I'm from Texas also, the Austin area to be precise, and I love talking to people. As far as developing relationships, Criollo is right about the separation issue in your profile. For relationship purposes, and for myself specifically, if the other person is not completely done with one relationship, it's a definite turn off, because that person is not yet ready to engage in another relationship, which is why a lot of people are here. Best wishes, hope you find what you're looking for, if only friends to talk to. :smile:

It's a sad reality to be in such a situation in marriage: neither here nor there. But closure is important for many of us. If missy did not smoke I would be asking her out... pero ella fuma!

A study examined psychological predictors of self-reported sleep characteristics among Hispanic and non-Hispanic women in southeast Texas, founds; Sleep quality was rated less than "good" for 43.7% of the total sample, and 22.5% reported adequate sleep "none" or "a little" of the time. Decreased sleep adequacy was associated with parity, depressive symptoms, stress, and anxiety. short sleep duration with age, education, and depressive symptoms; and poor sleep quality with ethnicity, marital and employment status, public housing accommodation, smoking status, income, acculturation, social desirability, depressive symptoms, stress, and anxiety.
CONCLUSION:
Women of lower socioeconomic groups and Hispanic ethnicity may suffer poor quality sleep. A complex and distinct array of factors are associated with sleep quality, duration, and adequacy. The relationship between sleep and health and the growing U.S. Hispanic population highlight the importance of this and future research.

Well, in that case, I guess I should be glad I don't live in "Southeast Texas", that I sleep very well, that I am not suffering from anxiety, that I don't live in public housing accommodations, that I'm rarely stressed, that I have never considered myself of a "lower socioeconomic group", that I have been educated, that I am retired and enjoying it, that I am healthy and take no medications and most importantly, I'm glad I didn't participate in the above-mentioned study. What do studies or, as you call them "predictors" say about people living outside the United States, let's say where you live?

LUNG, just a suggestion & an opinion. Before you believe all that stuff you spout. I suggest you come to the US; meet some REAL people; experience the REAL America & DO NOT believe all that stuff you read, AS FACTS.

Really want an American lady, lose that stuffed shirt, you seem to be wearing.

AGAIN, just MY OPINION. No offense intended.

Thank you Oldsage. Very good suggestion and opinion. My dream is to experience the REAL America. I DO NOT believe all that stuff I have read, AS FACTS, but I took them from American sources to discuss them with you. I am not wearing stuffed shirt and I really want an American lady I fixed that in my profile. I hope you can help to invite me to visit you as soon as possible.:heart: :heart:

Why is it you are going to need an invitation from anyone to visit the United States, out of curiosity? Get your passport and visa, book a flight and come to the U.S., wherever it is you would like to visit, unless there is a reason why the U.S. would not allow you here unless you were married to a U.S. woman. There are plenty of hotels in every major city as well as in smaller ones. If you have the means (plans coordinated and money to pay for all your expenses) to come to the U.S. it could be very educational and interesting. If you are hoping to get someone to pay for your expenses or provide an invitation to come to live in the U.S. for the sake of a relationship without ever having met before, best wishes on that one. If a U.S. woman wants to meet a man from the Middle East and he is willing to meet her both need to work together on the plans on whatever level is comfortable for both. U.S. men go for the "Mail Order Bride" scenario at times, but you hardly ever hear of women going for the "Mail Order Husbands". Still, stranger things have happened. Just a small word of caution if someone takes you up on this...be sure to have a foolproof backup plan.

Thanks again to Dcastelmissy ; I loved your poem: I AM BUT WOMAN;
I help my friends both big and small
I help those short and also tall
It makes no difference who they are
They may live close, they may live far.
Best wishes. flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou
