Dear men,
I assume you all have your various reasons for joining this site, but what probably unites you all is the need to meet someone, to connect.
Now I am sure everyone has very different motives and ways to achieve that, and surely you all have your own style and manner of conduct.
What still amazes me, though, and not in a good way, is how on earth the majority of you expect to be taken seriously when you decide the most suitable way to approach a woman on here is by calling her "honey, sweetpea, baby, sugar", etc?
Don't get me wrong, pet names have their own purpose among friends or lovers, but they are ONLY suitable when you actually know the person very well. And for a complete stranger to refer to you in such manner is annoying, at the best case scenario, and utterly creepy - in the worst.
Have some respect, please!

I've never been a pet name user. Even in a relationship.
Makes me feel like I'm adressing a child, or a pet animal.
I think some do it because they can't remember names.

I believe the Regular Mingle Men don't do this. Potential scammers usually use this kind of approach or guys looking for intimate encounter. You have the right to block anyone who seems unfit. Stay safe

Just the other day a woman half my age e-mailed me with "hey sweetie", I assume its just the way she talks although I can't take her seriously

Perhaps I should take part in this forum more,it seems here one is able to interact with nice, normal, genuine people, for a change.
Also, this is an international site, it is the context of its very name, yet it seems to me that I am predominantly being contacted by Indian men. Before anyone says anything - I am NOT racist, nor discriminative here, but simply wonder why that is - I would prefer if I was able to interact with ALL the rest of the nationalities.

Since I can see out of it again, I will take a pic without it. I am suppose to wear a patch up to 12 hours a day though. Nothing they can do about the nerve damage or the mental derangement

I agree, I think every man in India is on this site and they must have lots of time on their hands. They must wake up every morning and wonder what to do for the day, then it hits them "Contact women on Mingle2" LOL

But you have to admire their tenacity.

How ever , maybe it is you who triggers this?
If you look sweet , many people will call you sweetheart.
I admit it can be creepy if a stranger calls you this way,but it is all
based on given situation.

I have had many times woman on the street, or in a store asking me:"
Sweetheart - Darling - honey , can you please reach this for me?"
I somehow do not feel offended by it.

I never upon placing a compliment call any woman that I do not know this way.
Just common sense.

If you have any of the man here, calling you those sweet names, and
it is not vibrating with your nature, then just do not respond.
You do not have to react to it.
Blocking is not necessary right away. If some one gets on your nerves, then you block and that is it , you move on.

We are all of different nature here, some man think it is a nice gesture , some man do not take it serious.... So you filter out who is.

I for example am annoyed by your young fellow girls (18-26 years of age)
that are promoting their sexual content on third party websites, acting
as if they want to meet, but referring to third media websites and asking or giving emails. So what I am going to do?
I posted a question to others, but hey, I filter those girls out, do not respond to them and move on.
So we man deal with other things on here. (Like Web-cam Girls that collect emails)
Do not feel to bed.
We all just move on.
