Seeing her big smile when I got to the womenfolk prison early. All of her friends were busy with their weed-eaters and bags cleaning up outside. They knew she was anxious after nine months of being incarcerated to get away. She was the only one not dressed up in orange and I am sure they had teased her all day. You could tell by their looks they were ready to get away as well but the guards in the towers had their eyes on them. We had been writing to each other for months and all of her so-called friends had prior engagements.

It had taken half a day to get to the prison and I had talked to husband about how he felt about her being paroled out to me. Since he had paroled out to her she was concerned why she could not parole out to him. She was so happy and bought me dinner along the way back to my house. She told me I would have to talk to parole officer and get his permission beforehand about taking her home. I was so worried about how he felt about her living with me but he told me not to worry because it would not affect his and my friendship.

After getting home and settling her in we went to his house to get her stuff. I was so nervous because I really didn't know how to take it seeing him alone together. But after she came out of the house they had lived many years together his new girl friend was so happy to get her stuff out of her way. Of course, she was upset that her husband had a new girl friend because he never mentioned it in all the letters they had written back and forth.

Two months went by and I was invited to their divorce. She still calls me her hero and we lived together for five years. She said she just needed a place to stay for the winter. We went to a lot of trips so that she could pay her fines and she was so happy when they gave her freedom papers. She says she hasn't got homesick for the prison and after a while doesn't talk about her ex at all. It was a wonderful date and I was glad I could be there for her.

My Idea of it is, that there is no perfect date.
Date just is.
Every time different , based on situations.
If I tell you perfect date from my point of view, it will not be from your
point of view.
Make your own.
