I feel that having to be polite all the time is killing the Rate My Profile section. Everybody is afraid to say what they really think. So all we get is people being nice to each other all the time.

You might be more sensitive than I am then because to me it seems people are being overly polite to each other. I don't mean people should be insulting and hurling nasty comment at each other though. I just think giving it straight to people without worrying about hurting their feelings is better.

I usually do say what I think but it has landed me in the proverbial a few times on here so I'm trying to be a little more diplomatic, but it hurts to bite my tongue sometimes

I know what you mean. You have to be careful what you say to Americans.

Actually, you can say pretty much what you want
in that forum, as most peeps seek honesty.

Assuming it is on-topic and not vulgar.
Of course :-)

The opposite of that would be 'Well Wishes' in which
posts are limited to kind, well wishes.

I have found myself deleted a few times (on any thread) and didn't even know why. im pretty nice and still people get offended. some days I just read and don't comment.

It hurts to bite my tongue all the time - so I try and stick to the games and not even venture onto these threads as some people are way too sensitive - so without sounding shallow or cliche I ........ouch it hurts frown

Could be the reason they have their own set of rules for this forum. Due to those that feel it is okay to say what ever they want too...whoa

They are asking for feed back not to be criticized in this forum.

You have to be careful what you say to anyone. Tactful and truthful rarely offends people who want authentic feedback on their profiles - even Americans.

In other words, people want critiques of their profiles, not put-downs about themselves.
