Jesus Crystal, well how tall are are you or it's not that?surprised tongue2

Thats what i would also like to know. How tall are you crystal?

Lol like I said, I'm not that tall at all, 1.78M
But 9 out of 10 ppl in the area here are shorter .. Not just men, women as well. So people born and bred here have no problem finding someone..
The area I'm from people are taller. Kind of weird that regional differences are that substantial. I think on average men here are some 10 cm shorter than men where I'm from ... I really moved to the wrong place .. ohwell
Maybe they've eaten too much fish here for too many generations..

Wait a minute here, crystal, your 3 foot 6"?laugh

jk, I see she's like 5'9" or 5'10"

Hahahaha, so now I'm shorter than my neighbour? What the heck happened??
Indeed either 5'9" or 5'10" .. I never get why your system cannot come up with an exact number? It skips 2,5 cms, which is quite a lot..
Thank you for helping out converting it, Fleta :)

Personally I think that it is better not to. Why waste their time and money.

If it is the first meet I would stay talk to them and make the best of it. But there would not be a second meet/date.

If I'm not into them I will not keep dating them. To me that is unfair to the other person cause they may be thinking there is more to the situation...

If i want to go out I would rather go alone then be with someone I don't enjoy being with....whoa

I also agree with this. Well said.

Everyone ain't going be tailor made for us and I'm sure you're quite aware of that, but if there's some kind of attraction and there's no turn offthen I feel it won't hurt to get to know the person, who knows what can happen, lol from school times there were people some couldn't stand to be around ECT,and somehow end up attracted to them, crazy chit happens sometimes!!

Thank you Watersign .. that is exactly the reasoning of what some say ..
That as long as there is no real turn off, you do date them. Of course not just when someone's shorter/taller, that's my thing and - my doing - the topic got zoomed in on that.

you know upfront that the date isn't the one you want?

Some say you should anyway, unless of course he/she really makes you feel 'eewwww', because A) you get out there where you might meet someone who is right. And B) to keep working or "maintaining" your dating skills.

Okay, fair enough argument. But still ..
For me it's mostly them being shorter. I know upfront that that is not going to work out for me. But do you still date shorter men? Is it fair to them?
Or do you guys maybe date a taller woman with similar feelings, just doing it to get out there, but not being into them.

How do you deal with this? you just go out and have a good time, or do you only go out with ppl that could become more than just a date?

If I knew there was no potential before the first meet/date, I wouldn't bother going. If I discovered during the date/meet that it wasn't going to work out, I'd be as pleasant as I could and finish the date.

No, never date with men if I dont feel it might work out for me. One date, two dates max, if Im not sure. Dont want to waste their time, it wouldnt be fair to them. Neither towards me - because I would feel guilty as using themif I would be with them for any other reason and uncomfortable. Thats why I choose very quickly with whome I want to be.
And shorter then me in my heels - it wouldnt be anything for me either. Or skinny.
Im not tall at all, 54" but once I danced with a guy who was so short that his eyes where almost in line with my decolt. Didnt feel so comfortable lol

For me dating is simply just to know & understand each other...now a days people think dating means flirting, trying to do something extra which they should not ....
its an honor that we are adding 1 more person in our best friends list forever...so as a best friend then to help out, to share his/her pain, happiness is what makes bonding between two....
So people must meet when they get any request from other end....
because opportunity once lost will never be back...so grab opportunity & make a bond as a friend, lover whatever....
