wondering what my job will be today. im volunteering at a police officer funeral. Oh wow! That is very admirable! Did you know the officer that died? no. I didn't know him. my softball coach is a 911 dispatcher and she texted us yesterday that they need volunteers. since I already had today off I said yes. it's very sad though because he was a retired officer who was helping out and was tragically killed. there were news clips showing his kids and grandchildren trying to understand.

I think we've had our fair share of winter: - thin layer of snow for a day and a half - 2 nights below zero (some -3C ) - Had to scrape the windscreen once - Woke up this morning, my face frigging cold (roof is badly insulated, if at all). This is all the winter I can bear, time for spring!!

I'm thinking im such a dummy. I learned something new which I suppose should have been obvious. helping to set up for a police funeral means secure location and requires proper ID. I got so lost trying to find the place then had to wait at the gate until my ID was properly verified. it was an interesting experience

Thinking it's my son's birthday today :D And how much I love that kid. Although kid .. he's 24 today! And thinking.. ain't it funny how you start to look back on your kids' birthdays as they get older? Right now thinking how I wasn't even a mom yet 24 yrs ago, lol, he was born at 20.30 and it's just gone 11.00 now. And thinking.. 24 years ago, I was 24 myself Time flies, or wot?!

Normally I would accept the invite.. but -28 Think the worst I've ever experienced was -18C, but that was a long long time ago! No wonder you Canadian men are so hawt .. you need it to stay warm, or to stay alive even ..

...thinking breakfast is done, dishes are washed. Time to get dressed hit the grocery store and time to find me a new phone since mine decided to die yesterday.... Humm the darn thing just came alive that is so weird... It would not come on all day yesterday... strange
