It doesn't work that way. When one makes a claim, one is responsible for providing evidence supporting the claim.

However, once he had formed his army, Muhammad used the sword to force Arabs to submit to him and to his religion. Taking control of the state meant that Muhammad could add to the Quran statements that modern-day Muslim terrorists cite as justification for their terrorism.

Muhammad used physical force to scare people into submission. Modern-day Muslim terrorists have the same goal. After all, "Islam" means "submission".*

You really mean muslims or islamists ? There is a difference...and even among the muslims and islamists and I think even the jihadists....the last 2 being the more extreme ones.

For as often as I've read the Quran from cover-to-cover you'd think he would have had cause to even mention himself more times then I can count on one hand, and yet he didn't.

i think they meant Mohammed was the vessel allah used to write allahs wishes, like the writers of the bible... gods words written though them...

By the Quran's own admission, no word of it is derived from any human.

If you ever read any of the Quran at length, you'll start to notice it's written in the first-person but plural. This being an Angel in the company of a whole host of other Angels. The Quran isn't in chronological order of earliest to the latest. Often, the shortest Surahs (Visitations) are so short that any illiterate man like Mohammad was able to just memorize them. When Mohammad brought other men with literary skills, like the ability to take dictation, they were able to listen to the Angel themselves and record every word.

So, for the record... The Quran's claim to fame is that none of it is derived from any mere man, but instead it is a re-articulation of an emissary Angel sent from the Almighty God.
