When I've mooches at people's profiles, I've noticed quite a lot say looks not important, but is this really true? Hasn't there got to be some attraction there, even if it's only a little?

For me, there has got to be some physical attraction, I'm not saying I would need to fancy the pants off him, but I would defintly need some physical attraction, even if just a little, because if he had a amazing personality I would become more physically attracted to him.

As for personality obviously that's extremely Important, because if someone has a vile personality they will end up looking vile too, so I'm just talking about looks.

I think it's a combination of both someone's looks and how he/she 'feels' to us. As long as someone's looks don't put you off, I think there's a possibility of feeling attraction.
I think in what's meant in general with "looks aren't important" is that you needn't be Brad Pitt (why do we always mention him as an example of Mr Perfect? I don't find him all that attractive myself, lol).

To me teeth and eyes are important. If someone's teeth look like they haven't been brushed for over a decade, I'm gonna leg it! Gross!!
And I need to see a spark in someone's eyes. If I see grief and pain instead, I'm not interested either.

Teeth are important to me as well, I like nice eyes also and a nice smile. It's all about the way he looks at me too smitten

I believe this true. A pretty girl can turn me away just by her attitude and an average looking girl can get me by having personality. But there must be an attraction.

The first thing that you see in a person is his physical appearance. However, looks could be (really) deceiving.

I would rather go for good humor and nice personality.

I agree, but don't you think there needs to be some attraction there, even if it's just a small amount?

I agree, but do you not think there needs to be some physical attraction, even if very little?:warning::tractor:

Yes, physical attracts. But as I have said, good humor and nice personality are more important to me.

I've gotta have an initial attraction to a woman in order to want to pursue for anything on a dating/relationship level. Personality actually makes the most determining factor, but with out the initial little attraction. It seems otherwise just passing small talk.
