Men post old pics all the time. I don't think one gender is worse than another.

I don't mind a man posting a chest pic IF he's got a nice chest. If he has a belly at all, then he should not be posting a chest pic. Seems to me he's delusional if he thinks he looks good.

How does that look for a 65 year old man?? Photo is just to show shrimp in the cooler, and amongst many that show what I do. Mingle cut the head off condensing it. Shirt off due to heat and just shows normal dress on the Florida coast. Up most of the night catching them so certainly not at my best.

Since when does a shirt define a man? I am certain most every woman here has met a man in suit and tie that where totally jerks. When I see a woman in a bikini tastefully showing her body I don't judge her

rofl rofl rofl

My first belly laugh for the day .......
he does not judge her......

whoa

You are right the shirt does not let us know if it covers a jerk or not.

And please do not tell me (or anyone else) that you do NOT want to be 'judged' by women by showing your body.

Of course you do - we ALL judge- we compare - we decide.

We will, we do and we will never stop judging. smile2

^^^^^^^^^offtopic - maybe - sorry

On topic- Personally I have manipulated my pic - with effects, purely to make sure that the scammers cannot use it. Personal privacy is a big issue for a lot of people.

I wish more ppl would message and get to know someone and then ask to see a more recent pic - IF and when you have a better idea of them.

:thumbsup: Nice post 4Sure, even so, I don't think anyone has to explain why they choose the profile pictures they choose...If they want to use an avatar or icon, that's their business....If they want to pose with their shirts off, who cares...if they want to post old pictures that don't define the way they look today, let em...If they want to use photoshopped images of themselves, oh well...It's their profile and their business...Personally, I make a concerted effort to post flattering pics cause I'm shallow that way....:tongue:

:banana: :banana: :banana:

I agree.flowerforyou

I just wish people wouldn't use fake photos. I've had about ten men in the last few days I've caught out using fake pictures. explode

True...I don't mind graduation pics etc..or artistic work on the pics..it's kind of cute...as long as they are yours. Stealing pictures of others...is not so cool...but it also tells about them..;-)

Yeah, I once saw Kiefer Sutherland ... Didn't expect to find him on a dating-site laugh

That is a rarity...Did meet one lady far back in the woods for an airboat ride, she was everything she said she was, pretty, thin, and packing...she had a concealed carry permit as well. Think the only reason I trusted her was she had one. We never clicked as lovers but had many fun times together fishing and shrimping. She took several of my photos that are on here.:thumbsup:

A more important question is why a grown man would post a photo of himself with a little known hockey team's mascot! That's just weird!

I have pics in my profile going back to when I was 13, and put them up as my main pic just for the laughs they get.....
Apart from that there is no point trying to deceive, it will only end in disappointment in the long term....

"Women" are not the only gender guilty of this charge...*grins*

Dearest Men,

Please do not use profile pictures or send snaps featuring the following characteristics:

Photos that do not bear any resemblance to your actual, real-time physical appearance.
Photographs of your self, displaying a dead fish/or some other poor critter who met a tragic end due to your efforts.
Photographs of your self leaning on your car/ motorcycle, boat, or tractor, ect. Photographs featuring a beloved dog, cat, gerbil, ect. Photographs of landscapes, sunsets/sunrises, or other geological phenomenon.
Photographs of your self with a woman [also in the picture] scrubbed-out with a pin/ or crossed out by with black marker.
Photographs of yourself, holding your babies/grand-babies; photos of yourself, holding "someone else's" baby...;}
Photographs of yourself that feature your [unattractive] nakedness or private parts.
"Selfies" that are visually impossible to discern due to blurriness, darkness, & poor pixel quality.
*
Cyberspace is a place where, "Let The Buyer, Beware..." In that vein, please do not take offense at any request to share a webcam conversation with someone. Although, webcam imagery can be falsely manipulated, at least the margin for an unpleasant surprise is some what minimized;}

Thank you, in advance for your attention to this post,
Most sincerely,

Thank you, there really is a head on there LOL. I only use it as a profile photo when I am at the camp shrimping. I switch my photos around depending what I am doing at the time. When in Alaska I have picture of fishing and playing there, they change with the seasons, like the decorations on a front door.bigsmile
