I watched both shows of The King And I and it was neat how even with all his wives, the king fell in love with one woman he thought he could never have and said he knew then how one could love just one woman.

I really find it fascinating how more Western Societies are so complacent about Women who'll service more than one Man, and Heaven-forbid those same Women will oblige absolute fidelity of one-Man with themselves.
Such complacency makes sure the Abortion Clinics never stop pouring blood, and countless second-rate Mistresses never get the rights of inheritance with their bastard children, as the first-come-first-serve, Wife. ****************************************************************************************************************************************** In Islam, (In Contrast) all Women recognize that fact that the children whom they raise have absolute rights of inheritance from the one Husband whom they may jointly share. Every Wife's child is hers, and her Husband's... Case Closed ! ****************************************************************************************************************************************** So, who's society is more IMMORAL ?

I went to a church here that says that is okay. They said if we went to a culture that a man had alot of wives which wife would we say is not his wife? And who gives us that right? I think alot of guys that can't love just one woman feel the need to have many "wives" I mean the ones who keep the same women for years and try to hide it from the others like the insurance salesman who had all the happy wives who met eachother on t.v. and he made them all happy even though he broke the laws here marrying them and they did not find out about eachother until his funeral. I say if the women do not mind sharing why not? I saw a film about a place in Africa they are so short on women it is a custom to have alot of men to one woman and if the men can get such a wife they do anything to please her. Kind of cool. If he or she can make the spouses happy, why not? True, for certain offices it said the husband of one wife... too many wives can be hard to have time for and please sometimes. But I see nothing wrong with it, just personally I do not like sharing. I have seen many churches, that was NOT a Christian Church. That was/ is a Cult. Letvitican Law/ Judeo Christian.. Is anyone you have sex with you are married to (excluding raping a virgin- who is deemed totally innocent). If you disagree with their teaching.. RUN & cut all of them out of your life.  On a comical note- Why not more than one husband? All virgins, covered head to toe, & walking behind you in blissful silence  . Hhaa. Or that's just my fantasy. |

I have the same fantasy. There was an award winning foreign film about a woman who had 3 husbands I've yet to see, "Me, You, Them" (2000) directed by Andrucha Waddington. I love men because they have always been so kind to me. I used to be bullied by women. I am cool with both but I always get a warm feeling when it comes to sweet, kind men. I don't want to choose just one husband if I like/love more than one man at the same time. But it's only a fantasy so don't get excited. Lol

And you may want to check. Cultural Anthropology-non literate groups. There was or perhaps still is a group that if a woman marries she marries all his brothers also & is head of the house. But all her children are " the men's family ". There have been a few groups like this in history. And now we are way...

Then when the man cheats it's because she was too tired or unattractive for sex.. Yes, these prerequisites predate DNA testing. In the Quran it forbids the dismissing of a older or less attractive wife for a new one. It's important to note that if that older of less attractive wife doesn't what to resume being intimate with her husband despite his willingness to render all marital-dues... He can still have another wife who'll co-operate. Just-so-long as all wives involved including the earliest have rights of inheritance to both themselves and their children. Last-but-not-least, 'ANY MAN' having an affair with a married Woman is fully entitled to the Death-Penalty, along with her. That is why the oldest Ecclesiastical definition of Adultery always includes a Married Women. |

I think a man should have more than one wife because what happens when one gets pregnant... he has to look elsewhere. And he has to do it secretly too or he could lose half his stuff. Women have to understand that a man has needs.

The fact of the matter is just because a lone-wife is pregnant isn't an excuse for finding another.  For the propose of mere conjugal relations a pregnant woman can still have relations with her husband till less than a month from full-term. |

Women have needs too. Like we need a man who will go to work and support us. Running the streets and running after another woman/women is not looking for a job.

The main reason a Man should be predisposed to marrying another Woman is that he simply loves each and all Women for their-own merit.

Men cheat because they want to or they think they can or will get away with it. No other reason.
