Why are some people so full of hatred.
I mean here where I work I do my best to be cordule and friendly with all customers that come in the store. But, when I don't know what specific item if is you want I show you what we have and can only give advice on what will work for what is discribed. But, there's always that one person who thinks there being disrespected and like the guy today cussed me out. My reply was , have a nice day sir. But why so full of hate. |

I don't know why some people do that. I see it a lot in stores, especially fast food places, gas station stores and large retail stores.. For some reason some people feel it is o.k. to treat people who work in retail type places like that... I really don't know why.
But it is wrong, that I do know. |

It never makes sense to me when asking for advice or a service and to get mad at the one that is trying to help you..
I have in the past been a bartender and waited tables off and on for many years... You would be surprised how many times those professions get the butt end of the deal... I learned to smile and keep a even tone and do the best I could. But there was times they just hit me wrong and yes I did voice my opinion more then once.. As a bartender I got cussed out more then once and showed my fair share of customers to the door... I refused to put up with it from them... Even had some that actually came back and apologized and from then on they were on their best behavior. The past 20 years I have worked in a office...where now I'm right at the front door... I'm the go to person as far as the office other wise can't really say Office Mgr I'm the only one that does the paper work, payroll ect here.. And in the process I get to deal with all the sales people that come by and all the calls that come in... Fun fun... I find it unreal how many are rude on the phone to you even when they don't get through due to they are sales men/women. Myself I don't let it stress me out.. when I walk out the door at the end of each day... I leave work behind me... and never let it take away my smile... |

I believe they are not happy with themselves and feel a need to bring everyone else around them down.

Some people are just unhappy and miserable to the core.
They will try to share their misery with anyone they can. When I'm in a store and see someone doing this, I have a bad habit of butting in. Can't seem to stop myself. Guess I just don't like azzholes. |

From the title, I couldn't help but think this would be a thread about a 'certain' element, that migrated from another site. .......... On topic: it's true, most businesses lack customer service. Not the department, but the actual act of customer service. Treat me rude, ya lose my business. |
