aaargh!
drop the Photoshop stuff.

a bit of black in the - whats it called... Eyelids?
but anything else is a waste of time.
Heh but that's my opinion only.

and hair? hair can dry while you're on the way to the meeting point.

that is called eyeliner and mascara lol...

Personally, I prefer a woman to wear little or no makeup at all, or whatever she is feels comfortable with, but there are occasions when a woman needs to wear some make up.

The trick is to know the when and where's. Like I said before I like to surprise my guy when I clean up nice.

How long should it take to get ready for a date?
Do I need to spend a whole day?

women usually take about 5 days to get ready!!ohwell

depends on what kind of date it's going to be

if it's spending the day at an amusement park then that is casual
but if it's a dinner and a play then that means dressing up

I'd say about an hour for most unless it is a dressy event of some kind, then 2hrs at least (not including the shopping and salon appointmentS)

so that's why I hardly ever go to those fancy dressup thingies

If it's a first date, half hour, tops. Unless you're meeting for
breakfast? Then there's the showering, shampooing,
teeth brushing, deciding what to wear, dog walking..
But all this time consuming stuff is already out of the way if it's
a dinner date.
Also, you can invest more time once you think it's actually
worth it. Most dates are casual. I would save the makeup until
he takes you somewhere that's dressier.

Kind of depends where you're going. In general I don't need hours to get ready for a date and to look smashing.
Usually I decide what I want to wear well before the date, but sometimes I change my mind and I take an additional 30 mins, choosing a different outfit.

Make-up and hair, not much more than 15 mins. Doesn't take that long to put on some eyeliner, mascara, blusher and lipstick and a bit of perfume ..
My hair doesn't require anything apart from washing. A good haircut does the trick, and I have that whether I date or not.
I think about an hour. Sometimes longer, depends on what you wear. If it's really thin tights and/or my arm-warmers, I need a bit longer. Always an ordeal to get into my arm-warmers, lol. But I love them, so it's worth it to me.

You wouldn't be saying that if you saw us without makeup. We lure you in and then when you start to love us, we take off the face. Then if you don't like the face, it's too late because you have your heart invested in us. Works great for the ladies, not so great for the men.

whatever steps out of the shower, all wet, drippping hair, no underwear... that is her, her raw physique, with nothing added and nothing hidden.

If i can appreciate her beauty then and there, she's a keeper.
If i can't and appreciate the "painted/done up" version from last night more, she deserves a thousand times better than me and should dump my whoopdeedoop on the spot.
[and i take action according to this - and have dumped myself once]

how about that?
Stop worrying. :)

I have to agree with Typhoon here. If he doesnt like me without make up, than whats the point?
I usually dont wear, or just a little, make up. Thats why I put in my profile photos with and without it. But the truth is also that I never went to a date without it. At least in the beginning happy Just makes me feel more comfortable when I know that I look good. And also it is a way how to show the other side that it matters to you - when you put some effort in it.
Though eventually it always comes to your true, uncoloured face, lol.
And to OP - about an hour happy

as long as it takes you to be comfortable with the results minus the 15 mins after he arrives that cause him to fidget himself to death please

armpit hair is a default, daily task. so that's a yay.
leg depends on how your comfort level is at that moment.

if it "needs" to be done, do quickly and effectively.
if not, leave as is.
If he does not want to see you again because of leg hair, thank the lord you avoided that dude.

Annie, I'd say take as long as YOU need to feel good. Give yourself enough time so that you're not rushed. Not so much time that you have time to over-think and stress over your choices.

Put on some music and have fun!

The same guy did it to a lady before me and also years later to his grown up kids. Lol I always make sure I have enough money to pay for it as back up.

Men made us this way and then they compose songs to complain. If you don't want us wearing makeup, then we shouldn't have to shave our armpits and legs, either. Let's take this all the way. How do you like us looking all natural now, men?

Bring it on Fuzzy Wuzzy! laugh Seriously though, let's not get too carried away with this natural look biz!
