.. when are they going to develop one.?..hmm.. and this may seem cruel..
it is not my intent..
But wtf.. how long has it been! And how much money has been raised..
and still no real cure...... is it just another medical cash cow..... kind of like feeding the worlds population..ohh. sure we could do it.!... but then... those making money by not doing it !would not be making any money anymore......oui..... or is it just another one of those ways to control the population.... I read somewhere... about those who are in control of all of us..... how they like to. manipulate...
Us.... I'm sure I'm just talking out of my hat right now.
.. but when my dad had cancer..ohh.my. all the tests they had to run.. as though they had never seen cancer before....hmm...$$$.
... here's a thought.. cure cancer.. come up with a whole new disease to make money off of.

I watched a program on 60 minutes a few weeks ago, they were using polio to fight brain cancer.

I've heard that as well. They introduce a virus into your body that then eats the cancer

Many different types of cancers...all behaving differently...
Not so easy to target the cancer cell without collateral damage to normal ones...

I can understand the anger and frustration of this disease and yet I am one that benefitted by all the research that has been done.
In 93 I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer..
In 2011 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer..

I have been totally done with chemo and radiation and have been cancer free
for almost 2.5 years...

I am sorry that your dad didn't make it..
Will there be a cure I honestly don't know.
I do know as I said I am thankful for the research that
had been done for my cancers.

people forget, there's no money in a cure... if the scientists are getting millions of dollars a year to find a cure, why would they be in a hurry to not make money?

Ohh.. Thanks..drinker .. but he smoked cigarettes all his life...
... its funny when someone gets cancer from smoking... the sympathy evel goes down....you know.. oh they smoke cigarettes.. well I guess its there own damn fault then....hmm..
true enough I suppose..surprised ...
. and chemo and radiation.. so evasive. sometimes...... but what do you expect.. we still can't cure the common cold.... or can we....hmm..
.. but if we did... what would all the makers of cough syrup and cold medication do for money.....hmm..

Exactly. There's no money in curing any illness. That's why pharmaceuticals treat symptoms, not cure illness. I'd say research the plants that the chemo drugs are derived from. Pau d'arco being the best place to start

to me when alife is lost or a person has to suffer there is no judgement... It is suffering for themselves and most times the suffering is most severe in the loved ones...

You're right. I think the key is to accept that that's just the way life is, then one can live in the moment and enjoy the life they still have.

this past year 100 billion dollars was made treating cancer, thats why there is no cure. my dad also passed from cancer in 2011 at age 56. big pharma doesnt care about saving lives, they care about $$$ and thats all. they could have had a cure long ago, but like mightymoe said, theres no money in a cure. they make alot more treating it.

I mean generally accepting the way things are, like while you're healthy, as opposed to dwelling on what may or may not happen in the future.

One of the biggest problems with the search a cure for cancer is the fact that the charities that collect money for cancer research are some of the crookedest and send the least amount of donated money to the cause.

Check this out

and count the ones with the word "cancer" in the name.

i just heard something recently about a cancer charity that had over 100,000,000 dollars donated to it and only actually gave like 3,000,000 worth of it to research and pocketed the rest.
