On FOX News Sunday (FNS) heavyweight Republican Karl Rove said Trump is not a serious candidate.

I have met Mr. Rove, and have talked with him a few times. He is a brilliant man but he has been wrong before. He said the same about Senator McCain in 2008.

has anyone here actually gotten paid to attend one of his rallies? if not, then nobody knows for sure... just more media whoredom, typical of every election... fact is, it doesn't matter who's voted as president, nothing will change for the better until the entire system is revamped...

2020 moe, Adam Kokesh for president.

I take Rove seriously.
But he said some fairly bizarre things about Trump, like that Trump says he'll negotiate with ISIL, etc.

I've not heard Trump say that.

Actually I do think he will negotiate with ISIS. It will be with fully armed Stealth B-2 Bombers, F-18's, F-22's and F-35's.

Univision Dumps Trump, Miss USA Pageant Over Remarks On Immigrants

The Donald may largely be considered a joke here in the United States, but across Latin America, especially in Mexico, the sting of Trump’s remarks on Mexican immigrants has left many incensed.

So much so that Univision, a broadcast television network with the largest Spanish-speaking audience in the world, has severed ties with Trump and the Miss USA Pageant, which the Republican presidential candidate partially owns, the Associated Press reports.

This is a result of a building fever pitch of outrage following Trump’s announcement that he was running for president when, in his speech, he claimed that Latino immigrants were 'criminals' and 'rapists.'

Univision wants to back out of signed @MissUniverse contract because I exposed the terrible trade deals that the U.S. makes with Mexico.

Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 25, 2015
Trump responded to the uproar on Twitter, saying that he wasn’t talking about Mexican people but about trade deals. It’s not likely to quell the anger of Latinos, some of whom may have bought a pinata made in Donald Trump's likeness.

I am speaking as a Mexican-American here: This kind of racist rhetoric poisons our national dialogue and causes more damage than you might imagine.

The majority of people in the United States may not agree with Donald Trump, but we are also not doing a decent job at condemning his statements as racist, and it may very well be because we still do not recognize the humanity of our immigrant population, especially those of color.

To put it in perspective, imagine Donald Trump dismissing another community as 'rapists' on a national platform. The invocation of rape to condemn a minority class and to inspire fear in the white majority is a well-established racist tactic.

That’s how Latin America is taking it, and that’s how we should be treating it.

While it’s tempting to laugh Trump off, from the outside looking in, he is a prominent businessman at the center stage of American politics making incendiary remarks.

Univision getting rid of Trump is a big move. It’s an emotional response, rooted in pain, that Americans should be taking more seriously.

He actually has gotten a lot of support from the Latino community as well. Not to mention legal experts have been saying that Trump will win legal action against Univision. They cant breach the contract over this.

Mexico is just up in arms because Trump wants to bring the jobs back into our country and finish a wall that HAS already been started.

The new numbers are out and over 90% of illegal immigrants don't show uo for their required hearings.

A.) you don't know whether or not what defamation of the entire Mexican Country & and Latino's in general that his pompous arsed statements and ugly announcements have done

B.) you don't know what 'MORALITY CLAUSE' was or wasn't included in that 5 yr contract with Univision --- and believe me those little minute items are always generally included in such grand contracts - especially this one that has to do with 'Gorgeous Women'!

No, actually he didn't defame anyone. He told the truth. The people entering this country ILLEGALLY are committing a crime which makes them criminals. He did not attack Latino's in whole, but the ones choosing to break multiple laws. He didn't defame Mexico, he just simply stated we will be taking out jobs back to the United States.

An incident like this wouldn't be covered in a Morality Clause anyways and if for some reason they tried that, Mr. Trump spoke as a candidate for President of the United States of America not on behalf of the TRUMP Organization, of which BTW he handed control over to his daughter while he is a candidate.

Also resorting to the hair jokes really shows you guys have no better argument against the man.

9 Billion is broke? I don't know what world your living in!

Well when YOU decide to join us here on earth, you'll realize how Trumps shell game works.

He claimed his net worth was nearly $9 billion. We figure it’s closer to $4 billion — $4.1 billion to be exact.

Since 1982, Forbes has been tracking Trump’s net worth in great detail. That’s more than thirty years. Over those decades, we have worked both with him and outside experts who can help us come up with a fair market valuation of his assets. Every year, Trump shares a lot of information with us that helps us get to the figures we publish. But he also consistently pushes for a higher net worth—especially when it comes to the value of his personal brand.

We value the Trump brand at $125 million. Trump apparently thinks that if he spun-out these kind of deals and his good name into a separate company, he’d net over $3 billion for it. Good luck with that.
let’s be clear: Trump entities have filed four times for corporate bankruptcy, all related to Atlantic City casino property that he today has a 10% stake in.

There is NO honor in corporate bankruptcies but 4 of them??? He likes to think of himself as some savvy businessman. He isn't self made (fathers construction company) and 4 corporate bankruptcies makes him unqualified for the presidency.

I'll give him all the points he wants in the art of deception

Granted no one is going to be able to 'CHANGE YOUR MIND'...make you see the hypocrisy of this utter buffoon and yet I'd hope that you'd remember that 'his words are what is killing his potential for the GOP nomination'...he's so very SELF-INFLICTED = STUPID

from Sassy's link ^^^
In his speech, which received wide media coverage both in the U.S. and abroad, Trump promised that if he is elected president he will build a wall along the southern border and that Mexico would pay for it. 'I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall, mark my words,' Trump said.

Trump also accused Mexico of sending 'not the right people' to the U.S. '[Mexico] are sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and their rapists,' he said.

'The US has become a dumping ground for everyone else's problems,' Trump added.

Is not the first time Trump has expressed his dislike for Mexico. In February, he criticized the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for awarding several Oscars, including Best Picture, to Birdman's director Alejandro Irritu, a Mexican citizen, who he accused of 'walking away with all the gold.' Then in March, Trump pledged in his Twitter account that Mexico will never host the Miss Universe pageant, which he co-owns with NBC.

Broad paint brush generalizations when he and his construction companies hire lots of 'Mexican Labor'...hence the reason he can get things built so cheaply! There are thousands of good Mexican humans that have come over - not all of them are drug abusers/rapists! frustrated

Too true that statement about his 'Comb Over'; can't take this loud mouth egotistical buffoon serious...so that's the nicest thing I can say about 'Chump-Trump'!

NBC drops Donald Trump over comments about immigrants
By Kate Sheehy June 29, 2015 | 2:34pm

You're fired!
NBC gave Donald Trump the ax Monday over his anti-immigrant remarks.

The network said it was ending its 'business relationship' with the real-estate magnate and now-presidential candidate after he claimed that Mexico is dumping the worst of its worst on the US.

Mexico is 'sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs and bringing crime and their rapists," Trump asserted during his campaign launch earlier this month.

NBC said it will now no longer air the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, which were joint ventures between NBC and Trump.

Trump has already said he wouldn't be appearing on the network's show 'The Apprentice' because of his presidential bid.

But NBC said the spinoff 'Celebrity Apprentice' will continue without him.

'At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,' the network said in a statement.

'Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBC Universal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.

'To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC .

'In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in 'Celebrity Apprentice' on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett's United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue.'

The network's move came on the heels of a change.org petition that garnered more than 200,000 signatures urging NBC to drop Trump.

It also follows a decision by Spanish-language powerhouse Univision last week to yank its broadcast of the pageants in protest of Trump's remarks.

Trump told reporters at an event in Chicago on Monday that 'whatever [NBC] wants to do is OK with me.

"NBC, frankly, I've had a great relationship with them,"
he said, according to the Web site Deadline, quoting a local ABC affiliate that covered the event.

'But they didn't want me to run because they wanted to do 'The Apprentice.' I just told them I cannot do 'The Apprentice' because of the fact that I'm running.

'They were not happy with this, and now, with my statements on immigration, which happen to be correct, they are going to take a different stance - that's OK,"
he said. 'Whatever they want to do is okay with me.

'I've had a lot of great relationships with NBC. As far as ending the relationship, I have to do that, because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC.

'You have to stop illegal immigration. I know NBC might disagree with me, but you cannot have illegal immigration. You do not have a country if you do. I told NBC I can't change my stance. My stance on immigration is correct.'
