Topic: This site has too many fake profiles

Been here 2 weeks and have to meet someone who hasn't tried to get me to download an app or give them my email only to find out they're mail order brides from Russia. Good luck to all the other users. My luck has been awol here.

give it some time and hang around the forums. I have found that the majority of people on the forums are real, especially the ones that have been here for quite a while.

I Agree with you being older they try but Im able to catch the little tells,kind like picking up the blitz in football. Im just gonna stay patient and on my toes,no going off site.

My luck has been awol here. that would be email order brides now... just remember, the real members aren't going to answer emails from people they don't know, just because the scammers made it that way... once people know you from the forums, things get better/easier

If so did you report these profiles. The only way the site can be cleaned up is to have them reported.. There is a report button on each profile...Report them.. Like others have said there are many great people on this site. Best wishes in your search

Thanks for this topic, I've been scammed before, from the very first dating site I joined, CM! I've already reported at least a half dozen or so on here in the last week. I get a lot of hits from women from overseas or a 1000 miles away, it's crazy! So this thread has lifted my spirits some, Thanks!!

We are really sorry that you are running into this issue. The Site has a Report/Abuse System in place that all members are required to use to report such issue. If you do not know how to report you can use the e-mail they sent you look to the bottom right click on Report/Abuse/Spam and follow the directions. These reports go straight to Admin. Mods do not handle Scammers only Admin does. Another way you can report them is on their profile to the right you will see Report This User click on that and follow the instructions. We rely on members to help us by reporting them. Many do slip by us and we need members to help by reporting. We ask that the Forums not to be used for this problem due to we have a Report System which is noted in the Forum Rules. With that said this thread is being locked. We ask that all Members use the Forums strictly for getting to know those that post within the forums. If you have a problem with the site then please post that in either the Help section http://mingle2.com/forum/forum/7 Or Bug Reports http://mingle2.com/forum/forum/8 These are both located at the very bottom when you scroll down on the Community Forums.
