I was just advised I had two message. I checked them. One was left 4 hours ago and the other seven hours ag. WHen I went to message thm. Both came up ccount deactivated. How can that be possible? Could this be a glitch in the system. I hate to be thought of as rude in not at least having the courtesy of replying.

No way of knowing whether they deactivated their account,
or the site did it.

Probably not a glitch as it happens all the time :-)

I very recently had someone send me a good message and say they are interested in me. I wrote back within the same hour and their account was deactivated. They also sent me a nudge too. Are people that impatient? That has happened 3 times to me. I looked back on the profile a couple of times a week later and shows they are still online even though they have an inactive account. What does that mean?

Those are scam accounts. Sorry for the bad news but I had that theory long ago & it was confirmed by a staffer. I had a very unique message, then same deal, deactivated...weeks later got the identical message from a completely different profile. Half or more of the msgs from here are from scam accounts. especially if they give email or ask for phone number.....and cat I understand their interest ;-)

Well, in my case, it's not like I thought the message was so great or detailed. The picture was not really that special or was really good looking. He just sounded normal and didn't ask me for anything. If he were a scammer, why would he even waste his time to write me once only, then deactivate.

Cat. That is an unanswerable question. So why even think about it.

If he was a scammer and the site deactivated him, then you probably weren't the 1st and they popped him from other people
