I met my (now husband) over 8 years ago on MySpace. Literally was just scrolling through local people, thought he was cute, messaged him, and we've been together 8 years (married for 6), have two kids, and couldn't be happier. It's possible. Although, 8 years ago we didn't have phones that could send pictures (so there was no begging for nudes right away), a date used to be an actual date (not Netflix and chill), and guys seemed to have a better concept on how far manners and being polite could get them.

Things are too instant now imo. Young men don't have to work as hard to get the girl, to see them naked, to get anywhere really.

This question gets asked alot

My question is this... What do we have to lose?

If finding love offline was easier than finding love online, then none of us would be here.

We would have already found love Offline.

So all we can do is to take precautions for our safety, and keep our minds and hearts open to LOVE in general, whether it presents itself on this chatsite or sitting at a bus stop.laugh

That's the amazing thing about life.

Love can happen ANYWHERE...

Absolutely agree 100%...let's drink to that, but mine would just be a juice...lol...drinker

Too many frauds on the internet.. Do you think one can be able to find a soulmate on a dating site??

I met my now ex-wife online, we lasted 13yrs together. I know of several people who have also met online and developed long term relationships, but I know several who have had one miserable failure after another. Love is a roll of the dice no matter who and how you meet someone; I think the online dating scene increases your chance of meeting "the one" by exposing you to a much larger group of strangers to choose from instead of relying on your network of friends and the bar scene.

thanks for your reply.I am just relaxed after reading some responses.I have been in conflict with myself as people I met online always shows interest but keeps browsing but wouldn't want to come out real. I think I need to keep myself busy and forget about all these stuff.

There is still "possible" in the word "impossible"....Try try and try again...if at first you do not succeed try again...Robert the Bruce...just saying...
