does age plays a role or prevent people from getting into marriage?

It absolutely does in 1 of 3ways. First of all, when should get married. Is a teen-ager too young or , a sixty-something too old? Secondly, When does a person feel like they're are ready? is that based on age or socioeconomic status. finally, is the question of age difference between the partners.

well, I think the older someone is the more likely they are either married, widowed, or divorced

negative past experiences certaily would deter a person from repeating that choice

but positive ones would encourage them

so I imagine ,, for those widowed, marriage would still be a positive thing that they are open to

and for those divorced, it would be more likely a negative not to repeat

Yeah, but to me it seems like asking "does breathing play a role in keeping you alive or your death?"

There's the possibility that things like the heart, brain, feet, nervous system, pancreas, nutrition, drowning, just everything else is going to be seen as "less" important or have "less" of a role.

So yeah, age plays a role or prevents people from getting into marriage, but it's nowhere near the only relevant thing.

If someone is giving you "age" as a reason to marry or not marry and you fight it, they can most likely name a whole lot of other things too, they've just picked that one that seems the most obvious and easily defensible from their perspective.

When I read the title of this thread, I began singing,

"Love and marriage,

love and marriage,

Go together like a horse and carriage.

This I tell ya, brother,

you can't have one without the other."

no, common sense prevents men from getting into marriage- not age.
common sense sets in at the age of the first Divorce, when the ex takes you for your pension, your house, car Kids and future.

What about women who want to have children and be married? There is an age range for that.

Dude, Your claim is balderdash.
I have never regretted the marriage that I had with my late wife.

The simplest answer, and most accurate for the question as asked, is, no. Age by itself, doesn't have anything at all to do with people wanting to get married.

What they go through does, and a lot of that happens while we are aging, so it's no surprise that some people THINK age causes stuff.

then you still have house car pension and a shirt on your back... and get to see your kids, and have stayed out of jail, i take it.

if none of the above applies, and i still spoke balderdash, then i regret you.

Innately, age and marriage goes together of course that is the general believe but for me I believe marriage is simply about your happiness, sharing a life with that one special person. So? If the wrong person comes calling at a tender age and you jump into it, you will eventually jump out sadly.

Whenever you find dat right person that would love you right, that's about the right and ripe age for marriage.
