Superstitious
There are more persons who are like that for example if they are going for an important work and if cat crosses from right to left on the road they will either quit tht work for tht day or otherwise they will go to home and pray for god and then continue.. "What do you think of superstitious"

Hmmm... seems extreme.

I just swerve to avoid hitting the cat, hop the sidewalk destroying my neighbors garbage cans, then continue to work

All with a cup of coffee in my hand.

I am superstitious of spilling salt. when I do I always toss some over my shoulder accidently hitting the face of anyone standing behind me who blindly trying to walk away steps on my black cats tail and receives a swat of a paw armed with claws and a nasty bruise falling over her against the counter knocking the dish rack over and spilling dishes on to the floor... just imagine if I had not thrown the salt over my left shoulder how much bad luck would have happened.... laugh rofl slaphead tongue2

I think it's hokey.
But, to each their merry own.

"What do you think of superstitious"

I don't care as long as they aren't asking me to validate their superstitions or change my behavior to accommodate their superstitions.

e.g. calling me when a black cat crosses their path and asking me to take a day off work to come pray with them.

If it's something they do themselves and have absolutely no desire, intention, or thought to drag me into it, then I don't care, I don't think about it, I have no opinion one way or the other.

Using 4 sheets of t.p. instead of 3 could be seen as a "superstition" if you believe in magic butt monkeys and star trek like hairy klingons.

I never even think about it unless they ask me in to wipe their butt.

I don't wanna do it. Close the door, and keep it to yourself.

Interesting that different cultures have different superstitions. I found that in Taiwan some buildings don't have a fourth floor, you go from the third to the fifth floor. Apparently the number four closely resembles the word death in Chinese, and since nobody wants to go to the death floor there isn't one, and in consequence the number 4 is generally considered as unlucky in Taiwan.

I like to play with them.

I get the feeling many times, that if I watch my favorite sports team, it will cause them to lose. But I think that's not magic, it's just that they are so embarrassed to have me as a fan.

I've also decided never to complain about the weather again. I have the sneaking suspicion that when I do, the weather elf takes it as a challenge.

I can believe in superstitions ... but if you have read about them ... you can cancelled them out also ... but for instance never heard this superstition put this way... Find a penny, pick it up …

And all day long, you'll have good luck. This little ditty may arise because finding money is lucky in and of itself. But it might also be a spin-off of another old rhyme, "See a pin, pick it up/ and all day long you'll have good luck/ See a pin, let it lay/ and your luck will pass away."

I thought if the penny was heads up it was good luck to pick up or coin but face down you let it stay ...

but their are many that say ...there is know such thing as luck... there is always a reason... and luck had nothing to do with it ...

In Philippines, there's a superstition about seeing a black cat crossing the road is a bad luck or bad omen. Also most of the buildings there don't have 13th floor, they believe it's a scary death floor. I think some people everywhere do have superstitious beliefs, it depends on every individual, some believe it, others don't really care, or some just believe in the power of prayer to ward off evil or negative energy.

There's nothing wrong to believe in it, for it may give you a warning and you may take precautionary measures just in case.

I suppose quite like no floor #13 here in many buildings. Through work, I have came across some Chinese fellows who wouldn't drive certain cars because of the number (taxicab)..
personally, I am not superstitious.

No I'm not.
I believe if you want something bad enough, you would work hard to get it.
Yes when opportunities come and you take a risk after looking at all the options.

I do think and analyse situations and people.
