If someone's handing out free dates, and they happen to be with someone half my age or at least minimum legal age, sure.

Would I go out of my way, would I go searching specifically for someone half my age, would I keep bothering the cute woman half my age at work trying to get her to go out with me, to date, for short term sex, or for a relationship? No.

If my conscious desire was to procreate, knock someone up, have kids, then I'd date someone half my age to try and get the healthiest person I could find that would lead to the least complications, and then I would be diligent in trying to find someone half my age.

Why would I want someone half my age? That would not only be younger than my son by a decade it would be like chopping off half my life because how do you relate something to someone who was not even born when you were experiencing it?

I have NOTHING against younger people. I want them to have everything wonderful that they can imagine.

But why in the world would someone want to spend the last years of their life alone because their much older mate withered and died? I guarantee you that even if they leave you relatively well off it is not worth it.
