We are up to almost 40 pages of complaints and the profiles are not getting any better lol

I dont think I have ever responded to a pic with 2 or 3 guys. I do not want the other 2 men in the picture going on a date with me.

They may end up falling madly in love and I will feel rejected

I am honest enough to tell you if that dress does nothing for you, and be fully prepared for the consequences. Obviously, this has not always worked out well for me.

My pet peeve is the obvious scammers who steal facebook/model/other dating site's photos and use them gratuitously, and then describe themselves in broken english. Heaven forfend if you do contact them, and they want to go straight to e-mailing / yahoo messenger/etc. Google Image Search is your friend...

even if the consequences are not positive, you better always be honest. i would appreciate it if my friend is honest enough to tell me the truth instead of letting me go out like a clown lol though this is a very small example. at the end of the day these are just your words, my words, our own "positive" comments about ourselves. i still think that the other party should be the one deciding about it and make comment.. and that honesty should apply at the serious issues as well..

The scammers.. they are beyond the pet-peeve level. i have come along 100s of them here. i even warned some of them about the fact that they are easily found out by a simple google reverse image search, and there were times i have been replied saying "who cares.." they have such a self-confidence, intrepidness and ignorance, and such an enthusiasm to reach their goal.
but.. these scammers give the hints out quite openly indeed. unless you want to go blind and miss those hints it is easy to find out the truth..

English is not my native language. i hope i am not making silly grammar or vocabulary mistakes which will show me like a scammer.. lol

Having read through some other topics with your posts in them, I'm 99.9999% sure you're a genuine human being. If not, then someone has perfected an amazing A.I. and the robot uprising is upon us and may God have mercy on us meat sacks.

You are correct, of course. How I judge myself matters little, it's how we are perceived by those around us that matters more to an innocent bystander.

As for scammers, they are easy enough to root out and avoid. It's a pain in the @$$, preying on the lonely. I hope there's a special place in hell for them.

but also..i sometimes look at the situation from the different aspect - esp when they are male scammers asking for money, or trying to get married and throw themselves out of their countries.
they must be extremely !! desperate. Mankind is known for their honour. they must be in a very bad, miserable and hopeless situation to sell their honour out. it is like: a very poor person feeling hungry deadly, knowing that 90% he will be caught, still giving it a try because of that killing hunger..
of course nothing can show what they are doing less harmful.. but you know, i cannot stop thinking..

I dont see much difference with the scammers on this site...with the scammers in real life......the bank, the insurance companies, the car companies....My mail box is stuffed with offerings (bulk mailing)from these companies....and they mail in REAL bulk...The PostOffice is still alive only to deliver...junk mail... Its a numbers game....mail out 1000...you will get a couple of bites.....how about the cold callers....Bottom line...Scammers are all over...IGNORE IGNORE...all I am saying...

My biggest peeve is when a swimsuit model messages me asking what im looking for on this site....like im at the drivethru at McD's and taking too long or something lol

I too get messaged by a lot of scammers. I can spot them right away by the words they use. I think there's a script they share. LOL Common traits are that they are widowed, have a kid but is being taken care by another family member because they are out of the country, their a supervisor or own oil rigs. They always "want to know more about you" and they are "God fearing". Let's not forget, they want to marry you after the first day!

Here's a way to determine if they are a scammer.

Right-click on their picture
Select "search Google for image"

In the results, if the picture has been flagged as a scammer it will show and provide you with good information.

Just note that this does not guarantee each picture that doesn't show results as a scammer, isn't one, but it helps to weed them out.

I haven't vented here in a long time, but these sparse or boring profiles are really killing my mood.

And I need to know once and for all.

Why do so many men provide clear answers for other questions in their profile and then when asked if they have kids, the reply is "no answer."

Do they need a test to confirm the paternity of the children living in their house?

Are they afraid that I will kidnap their children if they admitted that they had them?

Or are they waiting on their girlfriend to take a pregnancy test before they give their final answer?

I don't think you can see same sex profile here, but you would be shocked at the number of female profiles that say "NO KIDS!".

i am very transparent about this issue
