oh, my apology

the post above actually asked whether the interviewer got an answer,

that is the post I responded to

now, is the question,,being actually asked in the thread,,, what is the difference?

ok, lets address that

socialism is a system, having to do with the means of production of resources

and democracy is a political system, having to do with a more generalized structure of who holds 'power'

socialists want government to own everything, democrats wants the government to 'govern' the people and their 'general welfare' based upon the constitution...

democrats nor republicans could exist pushing socialism because much of our politics is built around money and most of the money has been acquired through private ownership that has allowed people to attain personal wealth, and therefore personal power...

nice answer, thank you... thats why i would never vote for Bernie, this country was built on a capitalist system, and a socialist would just give the already super rich people more power...

I like him more and more,,,

i can't think of any democrats that i would vote for, and the republicans are pretty weak as well... seems most that are running have no military experience, which is a big "must have" for me... i do like carson, he seems pretty level headed

I really mostly pay attention to the democratic nominees, until after the final two presidential candidates are chosen

I mean, registered as democrat, I'm not able to vote for which republican nominee is chosen

and its the debates and the events that occur in the year of the election that start gaining my attention

so far, no one is standing out (not for good reasons anyhow)

though, the more I read about Sanders, the more I like his style and values,,,

Maybe it is time to remove "Representative government". Those(anyone)who cares, would represent by vote directly through proxies to the civil services. Would be nice to remove the elected middleman (person). Um, Was it Iceland that did away with the Federal government for a while.
* Mind-you, then I would not get my free beer and dinner, for the vote. haha

You may represent yourself as a Dictator in the area's of your interest but I know the volume of other individuals votes will reflect the greater good even in your area of interest. Lets get away from "the red herring" in Politics. Empower the people and trust "Iceland does what the US won’t: 26 top bankers sent to prison for role in financial crisis"

Canada has "Royal Families" elected, same as the U.S. and many other countries. Politics, Law and Banking are outdated power bases. Political reform is the only one, open to change by the voter.

that can be said about the US as well, every president except one is a descendant of king john (Lacklund) also seen as the villain from Robin Hood...
