Be very careful. There are a lot of scammers out there pretending to be military. Do not, DO NOT, give out any personal information unless you are absolutely, positively, 100 percent sure of who they are.
And NEVER, EVER send anybody any money for any reason.

If he responds just ask test questions ...many use BS location , 90% of the time you can stump them with questions about it & most only have one pic, often an unusually high qaulity pic, anyone vain enough to have pro shots would never post just one ;)From strictly numerical odds, well those are in no one here's favor as this place is littered with scammers ....hell, many have thought I am without so much as a conversation. Plase just take this advice ...never forget that it's not you & never let anyone here affect your view of yourself because no one is immune to being approached by a scammer ....last piece of advice , if it seems way to good to be true, it probably is....hope I helped, ...keep your head up.

they actually might be saving you a headache in the long run, possibly....

or be out in the field...... many times they aren't available, with no phone service.... but if they really care, they would have told you before hand....IF..... IF they had the chance....

or they might be a good scammer.

He is scamming you. If he can be on this site, then he doesn't need your e-mail address.

Scammers usually have one pic, poorly filled out profile and are afraid to show themselves, leave alone show up for a meet and greet. If you have not met in person, do not give out and personal info...this is a must....I usually ask for Skype ID, and thats the last I ever hear from them again...

Oh! yes, scammers normally ask for your email address right away. And then once they get it, they will either disappear or they will now only correspond with you at that address...and this is where the scam starts to take shape...first the professing of love and undying faithfulness...and then the sob stories...and requests for money...Be careful. Be prepared....all I am saying..

Oh boy. He is NOT Mr Right.
If he was, you would not have made this thread or had doubts.
Follow that gut feeling that something is wrong & not the thought of what you want.
We can not wish it or push it or change men. noway

If a man truely wants to be with you, have contact with you, see you.. Whatever.. He will move heaven & earth to do it.

Do not fall for the manipulation tactics of scammers. Message some women and ask what those tactics are. I will NOT post them and teach them how to be new & improved scammers.

Good luck to you. flowers

Hi. I am new to the site and have been flooded with scammers. Most want my email address in 1st communication. I have even had two get aggressive with me saying I am not serious about getting to know them or meet someone because I won't immediately give out my email or cell number. I have deleted several people from messages and " matches" already. This is grueling!!
Have had several pepper me with questions but they won't answer mine. Scammers!!!

criminals gotta make a living too:wink: I work in a prison & one of the inmates told me how he'd post pics of some shredded Denzel version of a rata guy & pass them off as himself (in reality he was a 54 year old 5'6 obese Bill Cosby)...anyways, he'd talk a lot of BS to get some poor lonely lady to think she'd found her soulmate & all she needed to do was send a couple thousand dollars for him to flee his home country to be with her.
He said about 1 in 50 fell for it, usually twice per month....he's been locked up 6 years so I'm sure his odds wouldn't be that good now. Kinda pissed me off that I work in a max security prison & we made similar money slaphead Now he has shredded dudes looking to take HIS money ......AND the other thingssmitten cruel irony

Ok I have been on Mingle2 since it was Just Say HI, 10 years+, and I have been contacted by numerous legit ex-vets but only two active duty ones per at least a thousand scammers.

Not to be cruel but active duty guys have so many women chasing them in and around every military installation in the world they do not need to go on line.

And if they are deployed they have free access to mail, email, and skype and even MARS to keep up with the women they want; that they know are real, not married, and willing to follow the military lifestyle. Pretty much if they don't have a girlfriend or wife it is because they don't want one.

Do a few play on sites when they are bored or check sites to see if their girlfriends or wives are cheating while they are deployed sure. But they are not about to get busted by the military for messing with civilians and face not only chain of command, but Criminal Investigations Division and JAG to be court martialed or loose their security clearance so they can't stay in or get post military security work.

Scammers on the other hand face no impunity and actually get rewarded for every bit of information they can get. If they get your private email or phone And they will sit on it until you least expect it to start draining your resources. They can find out pretty much everything they need to assume your identity. If you cut off the phone number they simply request it and assume it and set up shop with your identity to now scam some one else.

Sorry but one thing computer uses are known for Is having disposable income and plenty of time on their hands and little company to keep it busy. Basically much lower risk reward victims. And they can set in and air conditioned office contacting hundreds of women with the same cut and past profiles and pictures.

Well he finally responded back. But won't answer questions. Giving him just a small chance. I see red flags already.
