I actually really hate all the gifs thrown in, sometimes one after the other. Just bloody annoying ... So that is a personal preference. I rather read how funny and witty someone is. |

My little tip is...when putting a YouTube link on....always remember to take out the S of the https thingy....otherwise the link don't work.

You are absolutely correct, I don't know the other person on the other end. I have come across some ladies on the site and after the first message they start to judge. I can understand that some many men here with fake identification that leads to women not wanting to trust but NOT everyone is the same. |

I think no.1's idea is a good one . If you are chatting to someone new .. Ask for a photo of them holding up a local newspaper ... To confirm they are from the place they say and their look is recent :-) If you are dating and looking for a relationship .. There are Lots of old pics and fake pics on line . Proceed with caution .. Ask lots of questions and check out what they say . . Trust no one until they have earned your trust . Best of luck :-) You are so right, I have been contacted by so many women here on this site, who say one thing and turns out to be another, even go as far to be asking for money . As I am aware that men are also fakers, which makes life much more difficult for someone seeking real/true relationship. |

I actually Remember you from back then. I also joined back in 07 then changed my username and came back with this one in 09.. My Tip for newcomers.. Take the written word with a grain of salt. We don't know the other person and we don't know what they are going through. Keep open to possibilities... Thats right, don't judge anyone, even though there are so many on here who say they are what they are not. |

I messed up that last sentence. I meant to say that those people have shown that they are currently on line and a member. Sometimes you see someones profile but actually that person is not who they say they are. I have been contacted by so many fake women. You just have to be cautious of who you start a conversation with. |

Best advice I have to new members is to be patient and careful.
Do not think just because you're on a dating site that you're going out on a date any time soon and do not think just because you're sending out a bunch of messages that your inbox will be full the next day. Keep in mind that the person you are looking for could be in your town and don't be fooled by a picture. |

Another forum tip.....learn to copy and paste.
I just saw a post that had ELEVEN quotes and requotes in it plus the reply.....and the whole forum page was like that. I don't want to sift thru all that $hit.....and I doubt others do either. So....copy the relevant part of a post you want to reply to and paste it in between the quote BBcode....easy peazy. Not that this will help one damn bit

It's helpful when I read a profile and they have filters. They have an age range that they date or a distance they are looking for someone.

If a quote isn't tapped or copied, then the person you are talking to many not know it. And not respond.
If you don't like a forum, remove it from your list or just don't read it. And don't go cry or b@tch on another thread about. . Always read the profile of the OP & the person you are posting to. And the date of the thread. And for heavens sake. Say what you have to say & move on. |
