Yea.. I have heard that many times with the Hindu Faith.
But never in tbe other major religions.

It is good to have your third eye open when you pray. It is representing the way you pray is raising your vibration. Where alot of people pray differently. It doesnt matter who you pray to just that it comes from the purest intentions. Always using love and not fear when you pray

it is very scary and dangerous to open your third eye. I would not recommend anyone unless you know what your doing.

I don't like activating my 3rd eye -aka 6th chakra.
Easily gives me headaches. I think because mine is quite active as it is. I rather tune in via different ways. Just connecting to my Higher Self I suppose, so intuition kicks in and I can intuite, read or whatever it is I want to do.
I prefer to leave the 3rd eye out of it. It'll prolly join in, but no need to focus on it even more. Doing that always gives me a headache.

Oh, and it has nothing to do with religion btw. If nothing else the chakra system is probably considered blasphemic heresy by religions.

I don't feel ready to do that. It has happened a couple of times, but I haven't learned yet how to close after opening myself up like that. Then I have experiences way too advanced for me to handle.

I had my third eye partially opened in 2014 but it does what it likes, my psychic abilities are restricted and all i can successfully do is automatic writing. I am energy worker but i cant see the different colours etc

I wear contact lens, do I have to get one for the 3rd eye?.. that means I would have to buy 2 sets, since they are sold in sets of 2... expensive after awhile.

some said you can or you can ask for someone to help you. i think you should ask for help if you really want it so you will have a guidance.. this is not for fun.if you ever opened it you should have the knowledge and be wise of what you see bcoz they are just as they are. i also think third eye has levels. some says it's half or fully open
