How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are? However old the expectations of others demanded I be? I mean showing up to a grade school or playground, crapping my pants, wearing a diaper or tiny clothes that were made for children, people would shun me, call the cops, feel sorry for me and try to get other people to give me "help." If I went to high school, or started acting like a 21 year old, other people that were actually that age would be all "what's up with mid life crisis guy trying too hard," and avoid me. If I tried to live like I'm 80, in a retirement community, I either wouldn't be allowed, or kicked out pretty quickly. So, realistically, if I didn't know how old I am, then I would "be" somewhere between about 30-60. The general age where age isn't as meaningful a factor for living in civilized society as money is.

I'd be the same age. The knowledge or lack thereof doesn't change my age. Feeling "younger" or "older" doesn't change my age either. No matter what time, place or mindset, I am still the age I am. Now whether I want to act that age, well, that's a different question.

How I "feel" in my mind is about 25. How I "think" in my mind is about 72. How I see myself in the mirror is about 35. When I recover from frequent injuries, from doing dumb things, my age seems to be 60. When I repeat the same dumb things again I seem to be about 10.

i think of myself as being 25-years-old. I like to go for long walks and I am a morning person and want to do things. Unfortunately, I was born with arthritis and my ankles, knees and hips are like someone who is 65. Not much I can do about it.
