For the ladies, how often should a guy call/text you in a new relationship? And for the guys, how often do you call/text a new dating interest? I know there's a thin line between appropriate and creepy. I just don't know where it is. lol

It depends on the relationship and how much you like each other.

I agree, depending on the person, best to have a "feel" and pay attention to the "signs". For the most part, females will give you signs, let you know when is to much or not enough. We, males are just natured males. Hope it help, drinker

I prefer to talk on the phone, if it's someone I like.

Enough to show interest and wait for me to answer.
Not so much that I have to turn my phone off to get some peace.

Let's accept the truth... Men don't really message or call as often as women does... Very few men does...

I believe most women would have a phone grafted into their ear if they could, and most men sometimes wish the damn thing had never been invented.

As the experts say: Texting & WhatsApp is for short messages only. Not for lengthy conversations. Those should be done in person or over the phone, but preferably in person.
Texting & App is also used when you got something to say, not to just say something.
The message can either be sweet, playful, funny.

NOw you can deviate from that a bit, but as a general rule of thumb, the above is good.

The frequency depends on the couple's needs. But being on WhatsApp and/or phone too often is overkill. Contact shouldn't become routine nor irritating.
Make sure there's still an element of surprise in when you contact her, don't let it get too predictable when or what you text.

Personally I like to hear something before bed, like a goodnight kiss (WhatsApp is okay for that), a sweet message in the morning occasionally also makes my day.
Phone calls, not daily. No need for that, overkill. Few times a week max.

I really think that this issue depends on both of you. If you feel like texting her, then go ahead. As long as you don't bother her work hours, I think it will be just fine.:blush::blush:

Now if only women could learn this as well. Clinginess before we've even met in person is a complete turn off!
