Ok.. we all have Christmas wishes.. we all have things that we want our partner to put under the tree!. Come Christmas morning
BUT.. what are some of the things you 'do not want to see' under the tree Christmas morning...things you do not want your partner to put under the tree for you... (Christmas presents )you should not put underneath the tree for your.. partner.. yes.. Basically bad Christmas gift ideas For example ..do not put a weight scale under the tree as a present for your partner..lol For myself!. I don't like receiving articles of clothing. As presents..big no no.for.me. okay unless it's sleepy sex wear that's okay..lol |

I think that bad gifts to/from partners is any gift that subtly or not so subtly implies "work to be done". Unless one partner who loves to cook asks for a new set of pans & the other who loves to fix things asks for a power drill, gifts that are utilitarian in nature are no-no's.
Because if the gift was not specifically asked for but still given the message is "get to work"...(ps, same thing for the sexy lingerie, just a "get to work" in a different room LOL) |

Body lotion & shower gel gift package... Boring... the kind of thing you buy when you don't know what to get someone or couldn't be @r$ed to go shopping for something worthwhile.
Perfume... You can't choose a scent for someone else. Most I don't like, cos they just aren't "me" or are so overwhelming they make me wanna puke. Clothing, including sexy stuff... Me wearing sexy stuff is still a gift for him isn't it  So it's cool if he wants to give me that, provided he gives me something else that I really really do want as well. Okay, okay... I do want to please him. I guess lingerie is okay then. Dammit. Household stuff... I don't like to get oven gloves, a spatula, a frying pan or the like. |

Sure it is nice to get a nice little gift..but I for one
would be happy to get anything but chocolates and clothing of any sort..unless my partner has really really good taste. I prefer small to big presents because I move a lot. Just the presence of my man who loves and adores me would also be good enough for me. Now all I have to do is find him..lol.. |

I don't want to see anything under the tree for me and I tell my family this every year. I want nothing because I'm tired of unwrapping things that I will end up taking to goodwill!

when married I did not want to see any gifts from other women ...
under the tree ... think that should have been a hint  and when young my father gave me a set of luggage... how did he know I would be leaving home  ...this yr was very nice... I did get what I wanted ... and that would have been enough for me ... very thankful for everything I received ...

I gave my friend a mix of lavender lotions bath and so on ... but gave it to her in a different packaged a large Santa ...she loved it did not seem disappointed ... and her birthday is coming up guess what I will get hahahah perfume spritzers ... she likes them what can I say ... but I am with you know smelling stuff for me unless i get it myself ... most do not sit with me well ... I wanted that new frying pan but way to much right now ... know who carries it now
