And when it comes to controlling .. Only you can decide if you will be controlled.. Some encourage that behavior without realizing it. Games of control just get on my nerves so I don't play them. Always tell the truth about everything. Not only is it empowering but the people you meet wont get any false ideas about you. At the same time, there is no need to be rude or blunt. Honesty isn't always best delivered with a hammer. :) Basically set a standard , stick with it. You'll be amazed at how many people prefer a partner who has their own mind. |

I have actually been told that. What I have found is that preserving someone's feelings can actually get in the way. Its a case by case thing that I have a tendency to over-look. I have met people in life that are so deluded and misguided that their entire thinking process is tainted. Those people tend to be constantly on the defense because their decisions are often based on wrong thinking. For them, any honesty appears to be a hammer. There are also people that are compulsive liars. They lie so often their lies become truth in their minds. When the truth is shown to them, they feel the honesty hammer repeatedly. No matter how you try to soften the blow, it hits with the force of dynamite to them. You have only two real choices when dealing with people like that. > You can be honest and hope that they can see it. > You can tolerate and allow them to be deluded. We all have feelings. We all have different triggers(buttons) for those feelings. Some people have a big button and some have small ones. Try to remember that we place our buttons and allow them to be pushed. Nobody can actually MAKE you feel anything. Its all by your own allowance. |

Well. It's time for me to put my apron on and go make dinner..lol.. you all just keep the ball up in the air...injoy..lol.. what's that baby your steak. Is a little undercooked... and the vegetables are cold....ohhh.nooooo... let me fix that for you...lol... promise I'll do better next time Hmmm, I was going to stay clear of this thread but now I'm curious  So No1, what would you call a man who complains because his eggs aren't done right, or the coffee is cold, or the toast is a little burnt? |

Emasculating Females ?? ...Yup, that can be my problem also.  I am not afraid or worry if I meet one or more, and we become just friends. I give them a pair of britches and a women's denim overall, some Gumboots and a large cotton scarf, I show them where the plowing field is, and tell them, I will be having lunch ready when they are ready, while I vacuum, do the laundry, and dishes . Oh, I almost forgot, I let them also know that the water is in that wooden barrel under the tree if she thirsty. Problem solved.  That's okay honey, I'll stay in the kitchen...but could you fetch me some water so I can boil the eggs

..why.. are there so many emasculating women out there..?.. I have come to terms with the fact that most women in my life have being cold.,. Ungiving., self-centered.. Dominant.,. Controlling.. lack commutative skills.. and the ability to connect on a deep level... basically thay are .. emasculating women from hell..lol.. Sure sure.. they all start off sugar and spice.. but the red flags are there... thay constantly test your loyalty Your Love.. keep tabs on your whereabouts.. Tell you instead of asking you to do things.. put their needs first.. and make you feel like you can never do enough ..for them..try to control how you go about doing things.. and are always willing to browbeat you over every little thing.. If this sounds familiar you are .. in a emasculating relationship.. with a woman that will suck the life out of you.. just so you don't realize what she's done to you... stand up my brothers... say no! no !.more... look her straight in the eyes and say look woman!!... I'm going into your purse and taking my balls back...lol now get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich.. Oh!! that's right !!..I'm not asking you I'm telling..you... and if you won't. I will find somebody else that will.... but this new woman won't need me to ask..her...lol.. Well No1.. I guess u picked the wrong one perhaps.. There are a lot of gals out there that are not emasculating, as you put it... Having said that ..many girls do like to be in control; be right and bossy; get their own way, etc.. It takes a while for the true personalities to be found in someone we meet...so don't have them move in with you too soon! |

I tend to be a little more traditional as far as the stereotypical roles of women/men...it's in my nature to be that way. But if it's expected just because I am a woman, that's when it becomes a problem  |
