Is 57 years too much of a disparity in age for a meaningful relationship?

Depends... Are you looking for 57 years younger or older?

Depends on what you mean by "meaningful relationship."

If you mean "healthy and fulfilling as an organically developed natural pair bond for the purposes of procreation, as well as healthy, fulfilling, and functionally viable socially within western cultures," then it is too much of a disparity.

If you mean "eh, it will work for a while, people can get what they want out of it for a time, even feel loved and happy for a bit, and value the experience to some degree before it fails or someone dies," then no, 57 years is not too much of a disparity in age.
