I was LTR with a woman 10 years older (27-37) 7 years younger (17-24) married a woman 5 years older (32-37) An older woman is generally more stable/mature than your own age group, a younger woman a little more fun. Heres my rule:
Half your age 49=25
Add 7 years = 32
So the youngest woman I can date is 32 yrs old.-Hot
But there is an 84 yr old gal giving me the eye. Not hot

You could round down from 49 and date a 31 yr old. Gives ya a few more options. I'm 29 and figure about 21 is the youngest I'd be willing to go if she was mature. If I'm almost 30 and she's asking me to buy beer for her friends....it's a bit creepy.

My age range goes from one year older than my oldest younger sister, and 7 years younger than my dad... so 22-35 is acceptable for me. The need to be able to buy their own alcohol and at the same time not act like they're ready for the rocking chair. My dad, if he were still alive, would only be 42, so I can't really go too much older than me. That would just be creepy...

my parents divorced after 30 years of spiteful marriage. when my father started dating again, i was a little hesitant meeting these gals. yeah, i made sure to tell him that the girls he dates MUST be older than my older sister...who is 30 (he is 57) so, the other night, my sister and i were having this conversation and he dared put his sense into it! he started saying he was interested in a girl around my age (28 for those who did not check out my profile). so, i nicely asked my dad: "Dad, if i were to introduce you to my significant other, and you found out he was older than you, how would you feel?" The look on his face said it all! And my dad, being the nice little asian man that he is...simply said: He better still be able to run, cause i will kick his a**." Then he gave me the faces...Yeah, we had a good laugh about that!

before anyone asks, I have been on several dating sites in the past with the same results. have wrote many ladies close to my own age, 70 to 75 with the same resuls rejected, the only ones who have wrote me have been, yes I know this sounds strange 18 to about 45, yes the young guys seem to chase the older women, but the young gals also chase the older men. LOVE IT. could be because I can enjoy a very long dinner at bed time.
