Here's some advice from an older guy who has dated several younger women over the past few years. Number one, you need to be an older guy who seems younger, meaning in good health and with energy. Don't be talking about your bunions or aching joints on your first date. Number two, be a gentleman. Younger women don't get that from most guys their age and they will appreciate that. Be interested in them, their school or job, etc. Don't just be about sex. Yes, younger women do want older guys who are financially stable, but if they only seem to be about money, don't stick around. They will eventually bleed you dry and then leave you. Never brag about your money, as that just sets it up for them to want more of it. And don't just be about looks or the perfect body with the younger woman. And final point, if she has "daddy issues", so what? Is that a bad thing? By the way, I agree 100% with the poster who cites the hypocrisy of those who support gay relationships and black-white relationships, but not age difference relationships. Excellent point!

the problem with your post is you are going by your personal experience, you're not a bad looking guy and you dont look your age, it easier for a guy like yourself compared to the OP who and I dont want to be rude or sound cacophonous but the OP doesn't strike me as a ladies man and probably has to "pay" if he wants a trophy younger model.

Older men dating young 20's something has mostly do with finances or daddy issues for the woman and what is wrong with daddy issues? depends on the female, it could range from trust issues to sexual promiscuity to over protective, each woman is different

Very few women that age enjoys the company of older men because they like older men.

The problem with Older men usually 50's and older dating a young hot 20's or early 30's lady is Time, time isnt always kind to the man, no matter how fit he is, the reality is when he hits 80 and his wife is 45 or 50 do you think she isnt thinking of a man her age who has the stamina to keep up especially when she is in her prime?

these types of relationships are short term fixes at best.

In my case as you get older your mind stays young. My ideal age for a mate is 35 to 45. I suppose there are older ladies who may feel the same.

I will say to younger ladies what could' be better. We know what we want, we can afford to do what we want. We are able to make you happy. And when we die you will be set for the rest of your life to do what you want. A win win for everyone.

I don't use the age rule.. I use the gravity rule. If anything is hanging down near the stomach or knees.. deal breaker

that's why I always carry a ruler with me.

Women might feel the same way and also have a handy ruler in their purses...

The OP didn't say how much younger, and he may be a really nice guy; everyone is entitled to dream and hope for something good or nice, at least better than whatever his previous experiences were.

I'm 56, hardly any women my age could keep up with me, they are usually nannas (with bunions etc.) who want to retire in front of TV with their croche'd knee rug and their cats.

I worked with an old guy over 60yo getting ready to retire, but his friend's 40 year old daughter wanted him, and they married and he/they had a child - good bye retirement, and I've never seen a more contented man.

Keep looking dude, if you did find a keeper, they would all be jealous anyway. happy
