Is this the right place to post this? Halloween is coming soon. I'm living in town for the first time and want give out candy for trick-or-treaters. I don't want to give out crappy candy. What do a lot of kids like these days?

Twix and Snickers, served up in bra and panties...the correct way to dish out treats.tongue2

I tell you what we get peeps and their kids DRIVING
to our cottage for Halloween!

Reason is we get the giant candy bars at the S Store,
put all kinds on a huge tray and let them choose,
often they return to their parents who then come to
the door for treats hahaha

When I was a kid I remember we all gravitated towards
one house in our bedroom community of hundreds of homes
in San Lorenzo, California..for Halloween treats.

That family always gave out Hershey Bars! In an era when
tiny pieces of candy were the usual fare. I remember
thinking, when I grow up I am giving out the good stuff!

And I always have.
Believe me..they will remember YOU :-)

I still remember the house that had Hershey bars in a glass bowl...sitting on the porch, with no one around...I only took one, out of respect for their generosity.smile2

honestly I would do a mix. Depending on how much you want to spend. You can get a variety of full size candy bars at sams club or Costco and put a few in each goody bag.

Horrible little things knocking at people's doors asking trick or treat.

I'm up and down like a yo-yo
I'll put a sign up this year, no trick or treating and if my dog bites you it's your own fault.
I don't even have a dog.

Same with Carol singers at Christmas. None of them can sing and it's dark. What are the irresponsible parents letting them out for anyway.

Bah humbug

I'm glad you knew I was joking Eric. I live off the beaten track so I don't get any, I used to where I lived before but I used to just send my own kids out with a bucket of sweets for them to have a dip.
While eating half of them myself :lollipop:

You can't go wrong with a selection of chocolate bars of various kinds. The bigger the better.
