I can't recall ever being spoiled but really that is okay. That is not what I expect from the other person. I just want to be treated with respect and equality.

You made a valuable point there. Equality ... both share the same rights and duties. Would be nice if it was like this

I was spoiled after my divorce. When I was married it was all about him. He just text me that his knee hurts. We've been divorced for 7 years.

I mothered him when we were married so I guess he wants sympathy. He made a Dr appointment.

Me spoiled?

Not in that positive way.

Very likely in the negative way.

When the person who treats you in a seemingly heavenly manner, turns out to be treating several others in exactly the same way, that can "spoil" the very act of being treated well. Afterwards, someone being "nice," can seem threatening.

Being spoiled means getting something you didn't earn. Nothing in life comes for free; there is always a price to pay even if we don't realize it.

I'm with you. No facial hair on men. Would someone start a topic on this and do a survey? "Male facial hair, yay or nay?" could be the title. (We assume women don't have it. Lol) I would start it but I would be so irritated if women picked facial hair. Ugh
