What have you found you enjoy about being single?

Will it be hard to compromise some of your “single ways” for a relationship?

Hummm the idea I can do what I please when I want too and no one to answer to it...

That when I have to pick up around the house it is only my stuff which I pick up as I go most of the time...

Less time spent cleaning is the perk I’ve noticed most. Plus, since I’m so accustomed to cooking for two, I now freeze one meal for later and now only need to cook every other day.

I'm really enjoying the freedom it gives me. Sounds somewhat selfish but now I can do things and go places anytime I want without having to think about someone else. I like the spontaneity which I didn't always have before. Will it be hard to compromise my single ways? Hmmm, don't think so because I had to adapt to being single so will adapt yet again. I don't see it being a problem for me in the future but I may think otherwise the longer I'm single hehe

True, we don’t want to get so set in our ways we don’t want to adapt. I will have to take the doilies back off the coffee table if I get one who likes his feet up. laugh

~ Things are always where I left them.
~ It takes longer till I need to wash coffee cups.
~ The term "Head Games" gains new meaning.
~ Mismatched socks don't matter.
~ Utility bills are lower.
~ Freestyle scheduling.
~ There are no 'untouchables' in the pantry or fridge.
~ Clothing can be optional.
~ Binge watching movies till 4am.
~ Only listening to the music I like.
~ Nobody steals my favorite pillow.
~ Never waking up shivering cause someone stole all the covers.
~ Concentration improves.
~ TV and stereo volume can be lower.
~ No drama, No crisis, No stress.
~ No need for a bathroom door.
~ No need for a bedroom door.
~ Less dust.
~ Plasticware, paper plates & Solo cups vs Silverware, dishes and glasses.
~ Use less toilet paper.
~ Things are always where I left them (yes, I know I already list this but it is pretty important)

No matter what I list, I would trade it all for a meaningful relationship.
Being single is nice but having someone special is much, much better.

I can turn the music up as loud as I want to.

No one complains when I cook.

I don't have to grit my teeth & say yes dear....

I don't have to worry about what kind of mood he'll be in when he gets home.

I have control of the remote.

I don't have to pick up left over food on the couch in the morning.

I could go on & on ..... rofl rofl rofl

He complained about your cooking? But your profile says divorced not widowed. Must be a mistake. laugh

What? You don't have antimacassars to remove? Good God woman laugh

I had to Google that. In all these years, I never knew what those were called.

I called mine...pick up “those things on the floor”, every time my kids knocked them off the chairs. laugh
