The Midnight Sky

Been waiting for a good copy to hit the web-ways. All I can find are CAM copies right now.

Wonder Woman 1984 was entertaining but barely. The production values are normal but its a comic book movie written for people who like comic books. If you expect a masterpiece yer delusional. It breaks the Justice League movie universe canon. Treat it as a stand alone and have lots of popcorn.

Army of One was a watchable action movie of Ranger VS rednecks. A low budget flick that was mildly entertaining.

Breach was a mess and a bad movie all around and Bruce Willis is showing more signs he should exit film making. Think zombies in space. Willis is surely slumming lately. With films like his last three, he;s going to ruin his career legacy. I expect him to be in a film from The Asylum next.

Enhanced tried to be a mutant superhero film but was missing something. It had some decent effects but I felt no connection with the story or the characters. Meh, ho-hum.

Honest Thief was entertaining. Liam Neeson pulls off another decent performance. Not really 'high action' but I thought it was a decent movie.

Interreflections P1 was a talk show more than a movie and is obviously the writer's attempt to start another Scientology type following. No thanx!

Shortcut was a low budget monster movie that wasn't very good and I shut it off.

Skyline 3: Skylines was pretty good by itself but got tremendously better when I watched all three films of the trilogy together. Not a whole lot of depth or originality in the story but there is a lot of alien action sequences. Plus I like the colors.

The Empty Man was more of the same but lamer. Think Candy Man or Bloody Mary but lamer. Even The Bye Bye Man was better. If you pass on this one, yer not missing anything.

We Can Be Heroes was a kids movie but only if those kids are sheltered little flowers who can't deal with life. Frankly, I'm have trouble figuring out who the targeted audience is?

Tried The Midnight Sky on the site I often use. No cam. Normal HD.

Honest thief... switch it off. Boring, too slow.

Skyline... I think I'd seen the 1st one before, too many flickering lights for me, too much screaming and gross sounds. Stopped watching after 3/4 of it.

Going to look for something else again now :) The Midnight Sky is running in the background as we speak but I'm not interesting in watching it.

Jiu Jitsu... I tried. it could've been good but it was almost as bad as porn.
Hoooo
Haaaa
Yaahaaa
Wooo
Aaahh

And so on and so for. Lots and lots and lots pointless boring fighting scenes. I love martial arts but it should have a point. This mindless stuff has me doze off.
A shame as there was a story on aliens in there. If only they'd focused on that.

Had been a long time since I'd seen this. And yep, I cried. Also impressed with how they present the whole thing after passing over. Really well done!

Algorithm Bliss had an interesting concept but followed a similar story as Parallel in that success causes good intentions to turn bad. The science shown was pure fantasy but the concept of love transfer was interesting. For me, the horror element ruined the film.

COVID-21 was just another stupid zombie film.

Entombed was another stupid zombie film.

Shadow In The Cloud was an interesting look at the gremlin creature a look at the natural protection of motherhood. Over-the-top characters, impossible physics but still an interesting film I enjoyed. But hey, I loves me some monsters & creatures.

The Midnight Sky was a survival film. Kinda slow and boring with predictable outcomes. It had a hokey cookie-cutter ending which was wrong. Spoiler: Species recovery needs diversity in the gene pool.

Also watched some lobudget crap. 80% of the films available are not worth seeing. Its almost as if The Asylum is setting the standard for films being made.
I did watch some repeats of old favs like Fist of Fury, Battle of the Bulge, Double Dragon and Anna's Storm.

Played Godzilla King of The Monsters and Kong Skull Island too.
I screened a bit of Monster Hunter as a CAM. From what I could see, it might be decent. But again, I loves me some monsters & creatures so I'm biased.

I found a CAM of News of the World with Tom Hanks. I like most Tom Hanks movies so I'm kinda looking forward to that. Still waiting on a good copy of Synchronic too. Still waiting on a good copy of Christmas Chronicles 2 as well. I like Kurt Russell.

Final Destination - 2000 - rating 6,7
A very interesting movie!
Death doesn't take no for an answer. Death is coming. And Alex Browning is cursed with knowing when, how and where the grim reaper will take his next victim to the Final Destination.
After boarding a plane to Europe with his fellow French club members, high school student Alex Browning has a premonition of the aircraft exploding moments after take-off, killing every on board. Alex panics, insisting that everyone get off the plane. In the melee than ensues, seven people, including Alex, are forced to disembark--saving them from a fiery death when the plan explodes as Alex foresaw.
But as, one by one, each of these seven who cheated fate meets an untimely end, Alex and his remaining friends band together to try change destiny and outwit the untameable forces of death.

Young adult with Charlize Theron, very enjoyable stuff and probably something most of us can relate to at some point in our lives.

Fancied something comedic and light hearted and so I thought I'd watch a bit of screwball comedy, how have I never seen "Bringing up Baby" before now?

I was in stitches all the way through it, I feel a lot better now happy
