Well, tomorrow after I get out of my class, I'm driving over an hour to the east to meet up with a lady I met on this site. She does not post on the forums, but had contacted me first. We emailed a few times, the IM'd one night. Neither one of us were much for that, so we've been talking on the phone. I've been on the phone with her at least an hour every night for the last week. Thank you, Verizon, for unlimited nights and weekends!
One thing lots of people put into their profiles is "no baggage, no drama". Well, she's holding on to some pretty heavy emotional baggage right now. Not to go into detail, but she's been through a lot the last couple of years, and her heart may not have completely healed yet. She's honest about this, and how she's been torn about being heartbroken and wanting to move forward in life. She's lonely, and not a little bit sad. Yet we've had these long, animated conversations the last week, and there is great hope!
I'll have to handle this woman with the utmost care, and let things go at a pace she dictates. I know I can do this, and I'm looking very much forwad to meeting her.

I'm sure I'll be her shoulder to cry on, amongst other things. She's been through a lot, something you wouldn't wish on anyone. I was concerned a bit initially, but our personalities mesh far too well for me not to take a chance. Hell, if everything were easy in dating, this site wouldn't exist.

I've sent messages out to ladies who are my mutual match the only one to respond was a scam for porn site traffic. No real lady has responded to my messages. The only other lady who I have messaged who messages me back is debbie . I first ran into debbie after reading her post and sort of defending her in my posts. So I think irace is just lucky.
