Well it is a milestone that's for sure and it will led to stability in that region and hopefully a better world.

What really irritates me is the Trump haters never have anything good to say about his accomplishments. Or they try to spin some negativity into it.

Their obvious hatred for the guy is seen in their words.. by all. They would have absolute loved if he failed.. screw possible stability in the region.. they would have enjoy him failing more.

How pitiful.. How obvious

i would love if he would use the hard nose stop the nukes or ELSE approach and succeeded. Im not so keen on the 'Ill scratch your back if you do this for me' approach, cause Kim looks like he may have a kind of nasty back (his laws and enforcements and treatment of his people)

Has N Korea tested any missiles in the past 5 or so months MS.?.. did the President set out to fix all of the problems in N. Korea ( human rights) in one 4 hour meeting? was that ever the agenda?

Any.. and I mean any negotiation is a give and take. N. Korea wants the DMZ gone.. guess what.. so do we.. our men have been there way too long doing.. nothing. Just for starters. And yes, we will give. as will s. Korea and Japan and so will N. Korea... that is how a negotiation.. works.

You start with the most serious issue.. nukes as they can kill 10's of thousands. then as both sides get used to each other you discuss human rights

It is a milestone that hasn't been seen since?????????? can you remember the last resident to do this, MS ?... I can't

Good work, Mr. President.
give credit where credit is do...NK's nuke underground testing facility collapsed...they can't test till they build a new one... Trump had nothing to do with that...let's not be like the democrats and make **** up...

I was talking about NK ability to test and land a long range missiles which was almost a daily occurrence and a major cause of concern.. throughout the world.

And while the underground testing facility did collapse, I am sure NK had other means. They are not that stupid.

I just watched the news and the responses from our leaders. Across the board the Dems bashed the conference. But funny thing is they don't have a solution or a plan. Dems were in control for 8 years and what progress was done on NK?. What did they do to deescalate the nuclear situation and what did they do about human rights violations there... what?

All they did was to tell Americans.." don't go there"

One complain from Senator Chuck Schumer (NY) who said pulling out of the Japan / S. Korea / U.S war training in that region is a big mistake.. Schumer is complaining. but neither Japan or S. Korea is complaining...don't you think they would if they couldn't defend themselves?

So no, lets just continue to blow billions in that area on defense... cause they don't like the President. Or better yet, what's the plan.. Dems? and why didn't you use it during the last administration?

ahh, yes sanctions... well, did 60 years of those work?

true, I just don't see wanna people praising trump like the dems did for Obama when he did nothing... Trump is doing what he can with who he has to work with(dems) and he's doing 100 times better than Obama ever did, but I think he needs to rely on China for this...just my personal opinion, doesn't mean much...

They can't keep a 500 billion defense bill if we're not close to war...

Reality check, this whole thing started because Trump wasn't one to stand for the threats to be ignored. It doesn't take balls to stand up to a threat, it takes integrity and the ability to do what's right. Noko is broke, the country couldn't even afford the hotel rooms they stayed in at the summit. Kim Jung had 2 choices. 1 he can keep his nukes and continue to starve his country, there for causing a coup in the near future, if he started up the war retoric again I believe we would do a pre-emptive strike setting them back to the Stone Age. Or #2 he could try a whole new way like becoming a world player by interacting with differant country's, bringing new ideas and interests and jobs and food to those people. The road he was on is a dead end. The road he is on now could be paved in gold in the near futurefor Kim Jung. But make no mistake the reason things are differant this time is because china, and Russia both know trump will stop Noko one way or another. Neither china or Russia want to challenge Trump. So in that way your right, china made it hard for Kim Jung to stay on that road. But it's Trump that got things this far.

none of this would have happened without China's help...trump did great, but China is the root factor there....

It is a major milestone.. for the world. And frankly I think N.K. knew full well that Trump would destroy their capabilities if this did not happen. We know where they are and reducing his nuclear capabilities to 1950 would not be difficult. And really, what would they be able to do other then pout.

I think N.K had a meeting and basically they said " this guy ( Trump) is not *****ing around"... that has a tendency to change peoples demeanors.

Anyway.. its good stuff.. positive stuff.

this is what happens when you have a business man who isn't a lifelong politician or a Washington insider like ahem Hillary.

Imagine that?

So what do you say now Trump haters?

All you will hear from them is the usual.. cricket sounds... nothing.

Trump has a big mouth. doesn't know when to shut the hell up. He has little to no diplomatic manners and he has got to stop friggin tweeting. He humped that prostitute and lied about it. He is rude.

And when the time comes I will vote for him... again.

Why?

Because he is taking on big issues and making progress. He doesn't care if you are a Dem, Rep. or Independent Hell, even his own party don't like him.. why.. cause he is not a " good ole boy".

That is what I want.. a no B/S president who puts HIS country.. first. And one who gets things DONE

The meeting is a positive in itself.

More than the previous administration accomplished.

And much more than Hillary could do or would be interested in doing.

I think the dems wanted a war, just to thin the herd and gain more power...hildabeast was in on it...
