there is a profile out there that lists an age limit for contact that was put in at least 3 years ago. since the site does not automagically update this information, you might want to do that individually. If your maximum age for contact was 70 some three years ago, should it now be closer to 73? just asking

Its not an algorithm its a preference.

I have never used filters or blocks for this very reason, someone from the forums may want to contact, who would normally be precluded by filters.

Perhaps, after 3 years, their max age preference, is still the same. There's absolutely no reason, anyone should be forced to change a preference.
