Trump calls Rex Tillerson 'dumb as a rock' as former secretary of state says president asked him to do 'illegal things'

"Trump has called Rex Tillerson “dumb as a rock” on Twitter shortly after the former secretary of state made a controversial statement about his working relationship with the president during a rare public appearance".

What got Tillerson fired, he refused to be talked into doing wrong by Trump. He is a better man than Trump will ever be. Look at what a mess Cohen and Manafort are in for doing illegal things for Trump. He could have very easily been one of them that are in line for prison.

one of my favorite quotes of the whole drama

In summing up the allegations, Nadler concluded, “[Trump] surrounded himself with crooks… The president created his own swamp and brought it to the White House.”

Top House Dems raise prospect of impeachment, jail for Trump

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Top House Democrats on Sunday raised the prospect of impeachment or almost-certain prison time for President Donald Trump if it's proved that he directed illegal hush-money payments to women, adding to the legal pressure on the president over the Russia investigation and other scandals".

Hit the nail right on the head. Trump would make a great Jerry Springer Show guest.

Carl Bernstein: 'Donald Trump For The First Time In His Life Is Cornered.

"President Donald Trump is used to avoiding accountability. Whether in his past business life or his current political one, there is always something or someone else to blame. But now that special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation is closing in, legendary journalist Carl Bernstein says Trump may finally have to face the music".

I guess it's like that old saying, "It takes one to know one".

Trump on Comey's testimony to Congress: 'All lies!'

"Without providing evidence, Trump continued to accuse Comey of lying to the House lawmakers: “Leakin’ James Comey must have set a record for who lied the most to Congress in one day. His Friday testimony was so untruthful! This whole deal is a Rigged Fraud headed up by dishonest people who would do anything so that I could not become President. They are now exposed!".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-comeys-testimony-congress-lies-193137820.html

I think that Trump pretty well has the record covered for lying.

At this writing. I'm sure the number is even higher by now.

President Trump has made 4,229 false or misleading claims in 558 days

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2018/08/01/president-trump-has-made-4229-false-or-misleading-claims-in-558-days/

I don't know for sure how Trump will leave office. All I do know is, he will leave in disgrace. And because of his delusions, he will never know it or admit it. And most likely will never understand it. This man has no morals and no scruples. All he knows is to try to get his way no matter what. Even if it means breaking the law himself.

Cohen broke campaign finance laws on Trump’s orders, prosecutors say

"On Donald Trump’s orders, his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen twice broke campaign finance laws by paying off women who claimed to have had affairs with Trump, federal prosecutors said in a court filing today".

http://qz.com/1488575/michael-cohen-broke-campaign-laws-on-trumps-orders-prosecutors-say/

while we have tayyip here, u should all stop

we cannot get rid of him
he is like an octopus!

Ours is on the way out the door. He just doesn't know it yet. He may be allowed to sit out the last two years of his term. But after that, he will be a goner. Whether he winds up in prison or not remains to be seen. If he makes it through without going to prison, He will be a one-term president.

It was a fluke that he got to be president. By the majority of the people who voted, he wasn't wanted as president. Just by a select few that are as warped as he is. From what we read here his tariffs are killing your country. Making bad matters worse. I know nothing about your president. All I do know is Trump isn't helping matters any.

Trump Hits Turkey When It’s Down, Doubling Tariffs

"WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Friday that he would double the rate of tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Turkey, inflicting additional pain on President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose country is in the midst of an economic crisis".

HILLARY AND OBAMA ARE GITMO BOUND..and it's just a matter of time..rofl .

I have no special brief for Barack Obama. Indeed, as a senior adviser to the Mitt Romney for President campaign, I toiled hard to defeat him in 2012. But to characterize the legal case for Obama’s impeachment as “very strong” is pure and simple ludicrous.

To be sure, even the most absurd arguments advanced by McCarthy deserve to be answered on their merits. But by consistently inculpating a Democratic president for imagined high crimes while assiduously laboring to exculpate a Republican president for conduct that regularly trespasses on fundamental constitutional norms, McCarthy displays a double standard that is extraordinary in its brazenness.

As Trump’s presidency unravels and impeachment becomes the subject of discussion in widening circles, one is left questioning if McCarthy’s prolific writings in National Review and his commentary on Fox News are the product of dispassionate legal analysis or something far less savory.

Trump calls hush money payments a 'simple private transaction'

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Donald Trump on Monday defended hush money payments reported by his former lawyer, responding a day after Democratic lawmakers said the U.S. president could face impeachment and jail time if the transactions are proven to violate campaign finance laws".

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-russia/trump-defends-hush-money-payments-as-simple-private-transaction-idUSKBN1O91JW

So, Trump is now admitting that he previously lied about knowing of the payments? How can we trust anything he says?

Maria Butina, accused Russian agent, appears poised to plead guilty

"Maria Butina, a 30-year-old Russian gun rights activist, appears poised to plead guilty in a case that has focused on her alleged attempt to develop a covert influence operation in the United States".

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/maria-butina-accused-russian-agent-appears-poised-plead/story?id=59728594

Hmmmmm . . . . high-ranking members of the NRA (National Russian Alliance) and American Evangelical Christian Leadership that organizes the Washington D.C. National Prayer Breakfast (On Tax Payers Dime) that would ultimately give Putin's Female-SPY direct access to America's Evangelical conservative leaders, including — White Nationalist Donald Trumpski, Putin's "man on the inside".

So, according to Donald Trump, there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence. But the Russian agent that Donald Trump "PERSONALLY" chose to ask the first question of his campaign is about to plead guilty to acting as a Russian agent whose goal was to subvert our election. His son, son-in-law, campaign manager, vice campaign manager, attorney general, national security advisor and eight other prominent campaign managers all had criminal interactions with the Russians. How is it remotely possible that anyone in this country still believes anything Donald Trump says?

did the words Trust and Trump ever belong together?

The man admits to his constituents that he just says stuff without caring or knowing if its true.

The man admits on late night TV that he just says stuff to say it.

The man admits in his biography that he exaggerates situations in order to get more support.

.. only cult like minds would consider him trustworthy by any measure ,including the ones politicians were so stringently held to that supposedly assured his election over them.

Maria Butina, accused Russian agent, reaches plea deal with prosecutors that includes cooperation

"Maria Butina, a 30-year-old Russian gun rights activist who stands accused developing a covert influence operation in the United States, has agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy and cooperate with federal, state and local authorities in any ongoing investigations.

She admits, as part of the deal, according to a copy obtained by ABC News that is expected to be filed to the court, that she and an unnamed “U.S. Person 1,” which sources have identified as longtime Republican operative Paul Erickson, with whom she had a multiyear romantic relationship, “agreed and conspired, with a Russian government official (“Russian Official”) and at least one other person, for Butina to act in the United States under the direction of Russian Official without prior notification to the Attorney General".

Republicans beginning to worry about Trump re-election

"WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump's intensifying legal troubles are unnerving some of his fellow Republicans. Despite his brash stance, they believe the turmoil has left him increasingly vulnerable as he gears up for what is sure to be a nasty fight for re-election".

http://www.apnews.com/dc558078d0bb4b3e8aec63960a7091f0

If he had any morals or scruples he would resign. But knowing how oblivious and delusional he is, he will believe all the way to the end that he can win. And this time by the popular vote, for real. He wasn't really wanted by the majority of Americans as president to start with. The midterms showed just how much the American people have turned against the GOP.

Going by this, and what has already happened this week, if he makes it to 2020, If he runs, he will embarrass himself by running again.

but then again, you can't run for president from jail.

Donald Trump could face the prospect of impeachment or jail time, leading Democrats say

Yep, and it seems that talking too much has gotten him in deep shyt too. He actually thought that he could run the country like he does his business. He has already shown the people of New York how crooked he is. That's why they didn't want him. They knew even before the whole nation found out how crooked he is.

Since he has been running the country like he has his business, he has shown that he is one crooked businessman. He may know how to make money in crooked ways, but he was stupid for not thinking that once he became president, all his crooked ways and crooked cronies would come to light. No telling what Robert Mueller knows that he just isn't telling yet.

From here forward, it will only get worse for Trump. Whether Trump will wind up in prison or not, I don't know. I do know that he is a crooked, disgraced one-term president. If Robert Mueller doesn't get him first.

James Comey: If Trump Weren't President He'd Be 'In Serious Jeopardy' Over Cohen

"JAMES COMEY the former director of the FBI, speculated Sunday that if President Donald Trump weren’t the leader of the country he’d be “in serious jeopardy of being charged” as part of the government’s sweeping indictments of the lawyer Michael Cohen".

Accused Russian Agent Maria Butina Reaches Plea Deal With Federal Prosecutors: Reports

"Maria Butina, a Russian gun-rights activist accused of working as an agent for the Kremlin in the U.S., has reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors, according to several media reports Monday".

"Butina, 30, was arrested in July and charged with illegally acting as an agent of the Russian Federation. U.S. authorities charged that she had used her close ties to the National Rifle Association and conservative operatives to wage a covert influence campaign and even tried to broker a secret meeting between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin during the 2016 presidential campaign".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/accused-russian-agent-maria-butina-010530085.html

What Happens Now That The Mueller Probe Directly Connected Trump To A Federal Crime?

"For nearly two years, there has been endless speculation about whether or not President Donald Trump is guilty of collusion with Russia to win the 2016 election. While the investigation on Russian interference is ongoing, federal prosecutors led by special counsel Robert Mueller have connected Trump to a federal crime for the first time".

"Court documents filed by the Justice Department say that Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney, arranged illegal, secret payments to repress information about his extramarital affairs during the 2016 campaign “in coordination with and at the direction of” the president. This goes against federal law, which requires that any payments made “for the purposes of influencing” an election must be reported in campaign finance disclosures, according to the Associated Press".
