The CDC reports that the rise in diseases such as Rubella and Measles is from a lack of inoculation from ill informed parents and those spreading lies and deception regarding the drug used in such cases .
Lies and deception ! Sounds like the fear and hate posted by those that keep their heads down
rabbit holes and will have you believe the sky is falling because of immigranrs . Ignorance has no place in society today .
Globalist ? We are all one under god

You tell them the same thing you tell them when you're government is letting these illegals stay..that you have a lame government back by idiots who over time still can't get it right..But school shootings by no means offsets letting people come in who pose a danger to our citizens..Ask yourself one simple question "why do you lock your doors at night" and there's your answer as to why we need to control who comes in OUR house..the people's house..and while doing so provide them with the best protection we have at our disposal..BUILD THE WALL before it's too late..

But I agree we need stricter gun control laws but not at the expense of taking away second amendment rights..just like we need stricter border control laws..both for the same reason..to protect us and our families...spock

Look at that we actually agree on some things..has hell frozen over..smile2

From an English man's point of view, I am amazed at some of the things said by those who support the Republicans, especially under their present POTUS. How can an extremely expensive wall sort out any problems you have over there? Have a look at the facts as quoted by Charles.

We don't have guns here in the UK. If you want to belong to a gun club, your guns are kept at the club in a securely locked place. Yes, we have had the occassional shooting, but absolutely nothing like in the US wheere everyne can have a gun and no questions asked. I can understand a single small gun for self protection but some people have an arsenal of high power weapons. How can that be a good idea? Over here, we just don't get it.

The Trump has a dreadful reputation in his treatment of women. A few people like that here are despised by society and could never run for office of any kind. Yet the Trump has become your president! I think most English people find it hard to believe that anyone would want such a businessman as your political leader - especially the women who support him. To me such women are impossible for me to understand. Thank goodnesss we don't have anyone like him here, is all I can say!

I have to say that a POTUS in the global public eye, in my opinion, should carry themselves with more integrity and discernment than other jobs might require. But, in 2016, the public stopped pretending they cared about how a POTUS actually behaves.

I tend to think, in most OTHER jobs, what one produces is more important than what I may think of them as people in general. But I agree with POTUS having a certain 'image' of behavior and intelligence that should come with it.

I think we are more and more a culture of popularity though, rather than substance, and I think we are still not ready to see someone other than affluent white males as 'leaders' of the country. Obama was one of those exceptions to the rule kind of things, I think, BECAUSE of four things, his behavior and intelligence and McCain chose such a nincompoop female to run beside him, and the culture of partisan politics had been disappointed by the 'republican' before him due to the near depression. So, the democrat had a better shot. Similarly, enough people were so upset about a non white male leadership being elected AND reelected, that a rich white male had a better shot than another minority(female). BUt that is MY OPINION.

Other than that, in the last few decades, it is rare for a POTUS to not serve two terms. So, we may wanna strap in for another term, unfortunately.

Well first of all NOT everyone in the U.S can get a gun..as far as the wall it helps keep a bunch of illegals from entering our country ..As far as the UK how's that UN migration Pact working out for ya..like supporting all those immigrants, taxes going up yet..don't worry they will..is it true there are places in your own country you can't go to because of the different population there..I see where the Belgian minister isn't so happy about the immigration situation..

Nothing like people just dumping others on your door step to support..I see where women are being told not to go out at night Of course that might be because in Germany there are over 150 cases of women across 5 different cities who have been attacked by organized Arabs or North African gangs..and we won't even talk about the migrant rapes occurring that are being silenced..SOooo how do you justify doing this to your women over there..in need of cheap labor? yea well that sounds like a fair trade off..NOT..So I mean if ya want to get down to it..it appears your country leaders are treating your women worse than Trump..by putting them in this danger..but not to worry because if your fake news is like ours you won't hear about their suffering...

Trump condemned for budget cutting welfare while boosting spending for border wall and military: ‘This is for the billionaire class’

Trump has been accused of proposing a budget for the “military-industrial complex and the billionaire class”, after the White House released details of a plan that would cut spending on welfare and education while boosting money for the military and a border wall.

The $4.7 trillion (£3.5 trillion) budget proposal, which is all but certain to be rejected by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives and once again put the president on a collision course with Congress over his demand for a border fence, called for an overhaul of Medicare, Medicaid, and other expensive social programmes. Indeed, other than the department of defense, all government departments would see their budgets trimmed by 5 percent.

Meanwhile, the proposal called for spending on the military to be increased by more than 4 percent to $750bn and demanded $8.6bn to build a wall on the border with Mexico.

How about cutting the benefits for those in Congress. After 2 terms you get lifetime benefits and a pension. Most people have to work 30 years to get that!

U.S. BUDGET DEFICIT REACHES HIGHER LEVEL UNDER TRUMP THAN AT ANY POINT IN OBAMA'S SECOND TERM

"The U.S. budget deficit reached its highest level in six years, higher than any point in President Barack Obama’s second term, the Trump administration announced Monday.

Increased spending in 2018 bumped the deficit up 17 percent to $779 billion in fiscal year 2018, largely due to an increase in spending and a decrease in corporate tax revenue because of the Republican tax cuts late last year. The deficit is now on track to surpass $1 trillion before 2020".

http://www.newsweek.com/budget-deficit-trump-obama-us-1171204

The government spends 50% more on corporate welfare than on food stamps and housing, but all of Trump's cuts that everybody is so thrilled with are cuts to people without political pull, and none of them are to the most expensive entities in the country - corporations. Not a single cut to the $500 billion subsidies big oil gets - WalMart gets $7.8 billion a year. Then you've got the Advanced Technology Program. It's to help companies venture into new technology. Nice idea, but it's cost $2 billion now, with Fortune 500 companies like Dow, IBM, Xerox and GE getting the lion's share. We'll cut off people on disability, and increase Medicare expenses to Seniors with a smile on our faces, but the corporate leaders must always be allowed to keep their faces deep in the federal trough.

***********************************************************************************

At this writing, 57% of Americans want someone else besides Trump in 2020. By the end of his term, I look for that percentage to be even higher. By the end of his term, we are projected to be in another recession. That in its self will play a major part in his loss in 2020. And that's not counting all the corruption that we already know about. He has pretty well stacked the deck against himself. What he is about to do to the farmers, one of the biggest groups that helped him get in office, Well, I guess it depends on how many farmers are die-hard Trump supporters. We can expect just about any kind of crazy out of them. But I'me reasonably sure Trump alienated himself from many farmers.

Paul Ryan on 2020: Some Democrats could defeat Trump

"Former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said he believes there are some Democrats who could defeat President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

Ryan, in one of his first public appearances after retiring from Congress, weighed in on Trump's chances and reflected on his tenure in Congress during a Monday lecture in Vero Beach, Florida.

“The person who defines that race is going to win the race. If this is about Donald Trump and his personality, he isn’t going to win it,” Ryan said".

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/03/12/paul-ryan-policy-gridlock-vero-beach-lecture/3137969002/

With as much fu%$&NG up as Trump has done in the past years if an election were held now, Trump would lose. Even if it were between him and Micky Mouse, Micky would win. At least Micky is respectable. And when you get right down to it, Micky is a rat. A rat is more respectable than Trump. Look at how Micky stayed with Minnie all these years. Yes, I'm saying exactly that. A rat is better.

Charles Koch and his wife gave Speaker of the House Paul Ryan a half-million dollars after the Republican tax bill passed in the House.

Do you think that's crazy? If you have followed this thread and the one before it you will see just how crazy the right has become. Most of them say nothing. Even when they are talking. And when they do speak, it's the same silly things every time. If it's not silliness, it's downright spooky.

For example. Some have said that there is a difference between killing a baby in abortion and turning a child away at the border. Send them back to die a cruel and harsh death to people that will sell them into sex slavery. And die at the hands of some pervert. That one statement is very frightening. It shows just how hypocritical some are. And how far the right has swung. They are so far "right" they have pegged the needle. They are just a step or two away from communism. And some don't even know it.

While others, I'm not too sure about.

US History does not support race being just a 'card'. I hardly judge things on race, unless race is relevant. And with politics, basing present behavior and attitude on past behavior and attitude, I tend to try to find why it ISN'T racial by finding some OTHER difference that explains it. It is only when the main difference I can see in how a behavior is reacted to is in the demographic the person belongs to, that I consider some implicit bias is at hand. In Obama's case, it would be race. In Hilary's case it would be a female.

Inherent racial bias is real, as are other inherent biases, and I believe it plays a huge part in how the actions of others are judged or perceived, which plays a part in how individuals place their votes.
